the figures i got were loose. :( but its not that big a deal to me. im planning on bidding for a huge lot of palisades muppets. well not a huge but theres six of em. but i need to wait till the day it ends. but the problem is, it ends at 3:23 p.m. and my bus might get home later than that! :( so i hope i make it home in time to bid!

Haha! I know how THAT is too! One time I was bidding on a Super Grover figure that I found out was ending WHILE I was in school. I tried to get eBay to send me a text message if I got outbid... and they did, but I wasn't able to get to a computer during class. :p

My advice... run fast once you get off the bus! :excited:

You know... That happened to me too with a Palisades Holiday Kermit I was bidding on. What I did was decide to play hardball with the jerkface snipers. What I did was even though I had the high bid of $50 at the time, I placed a much higher max bid. That way, I'd have my winning bid raised if anyone tried to come and snipe the item away. Ended up winning the figure at a price of $97. Hope this helps.

Threads like this always make me glad I got started with this line fairly early on (Series 4 was when I really started). I remember I wasn't originally going to get involved ('cause this was back when I was still in high school and didn't have a job, etc. etc.) but I did buy Series 2 Gonzo 'cause he's my favorite character. Then I bought Series 4 Sam Arrow because Muppet Treasure Island is my favorite Muppet movie and I loved Sam in that movie. It was one fateful day when I was admiring Sam through the packaging when I decided to open it. I was lucky, I was able to get most of the Series 1-3 figures (except for Floyd, Fozzie, Zoot, and Animal with the Electric Mayhem Stage). So I didn't miss a beat when it came to the other series when they were released.

I also made sure to get all the really good exclusives as they came out (ESPECIALLY Jim Henson and Super Grover!)

Hi, I'm a newbie to the forum. I also have quite a few muppet figures, but I'm actually collecting them for a much larger project. I'm building a model of the muppet theatre, including all backstage areas and rarely seen rooms. It will be large enough for the figures to "live" in, so it will have to come apart in sections. I'm still in the planning stages. Does anyone have any floor plans/blueprints/links that might be helpful?

Hi and welcome to Muppet Central. You might want to contact forum member ElecMayhem, or search for some threads here where others have also attempted building a scale Muppet Theater model. Hope this helps and have fun exploring the rest of the forums.

I got 12 new figures (from the same seller on eBay) in the mail yesterday and it was great. I was afraid I was gonna get high from the paint fumes xD.

These are the ones I got:

    -Koozebane Kermit
-Koozebane Kermit (with the tin from the Collector's Club)
    -Shifty-Eyed Sam the Eagle
-Uncle Deadly (Glow in the Dark)
    -Uncle Deadly (Steppin' Out)
    -Animal (Collector's Paradise exclusive)
    -Clifford repaint
    -Super Beaker
    -Vanishing Cream Beaker
    -Culinary Catastrophe Swedish Chef
    -Vacation Fozzie (Red shirt)
    -Vacation Pepe (Blue Shirt)

Super Beaker and Sam the Eagle had particularly tacky paint. My other series 8 figures didn't really have noticably tacky paint back when I got them when they first came out, I'm surprised this Sam did...
