My wife was looking for a White Elephant gift for a Christmas party gift exchange. So I gave her one of my proof of concept puppets. It was an ugly thing, having one arm sewn on upside down and googly eyes. Much to my surprise, it was a big hit. This generated the request for more puppets. I ended up selling three because of that party. Here are some pictures for two of the three puppets. The third is still in production.
Timmy was a last minute request for a Christmas gift, so I machine sewed everything except the mouth plate.
Susan on the other hand has a hand sewn front seam using the Henson stitch.
I used a variation of Project Puppet's Rolly pattern for both. Each has a different mouth plate design. Timmy's under bite was a happy accident that came about from stuffing his head with poly-fill too soon. This gave me problems when I was attaching the mouth plate.
