The newsest one, Sleep, debuted last week, but since the site update, no one could see it. Thankfully, I have iTunes. It has the following segments:
  • Happy and Healthy: Baby Bear prepares for a nap
  • Ernie and Bert sing about sleep (edited)
  • Film: A girl prepares for sleep
  • Cartoon: Noodles and Ned sleep (edited)

We're back to word on the street-starting with "Octagon"
Note:the file size is 42.8MB,compared to 20-25MB for earlier podcasts.

And goes for nearly 10mins-maybe we'll see more inserts.

Podcast seems to be in widescreen and better quality video-looks a bit HD to me.

Segments include:
Animation:big_grin:ifferent shapes are formed and explained-ending with a octagon.
eg. a circle falls from a cliff into a ditch, then turns into a square, square turns into a trapezoid (pig takes bit out off the shape).

Edited-with Octagon superimposed at the end.

(A bit hard to explain the above segment-so that's best I could describe it as-if anyone could correct me, then that's OK.)

Also what year is it from?

Jack Black explains the word octagon (with Elmo)
Ernie tries to buy a stop sign, with a green AM
Rain, then a umbrella appears (which is shaped like octagon)
Feist sings 1,2,3,4 (from episode 4161-I thought it would be included, seeing as this week Season 39 began)
A promo for the new Sesamestreet.org site featuring Elmo,Chris, Cookie Monster and Twiddlebugs

Also no sponser is seen during the opening and ending, and the word on the street (watch Sesame Street on PBS) bumper is in the middle, not at the end.

Interesting mix of octagon themed inserts with 2 non-octagon themed inserts

The ending with Feist and the website were basically promos for the news season adn site. With out them, the podcast was of normal length.

Yes-before this week, the podcast wasn't in a widescreen aspect ratio.

Here's the segment list for the newest one: "Subtraction".
  • What's the Word on the Street?: Subtraction
  • The Count subtracts lights (edited)
  • Animation: Strawberry subtraction
  • AM kids subract themselves (edited)
It also has an edited version of the Sesamestreet.org ad.

Sponser is back to American Greetings as of the "subtraction" episode.
