For 4180, it seems that a segment for 8 will be from the classic Number Song Series-these haven;t been shown since the late 1980's.

I HIGHLY doubt that. Whoever added that to Muppet Wiki has also added several inaccurate segments to several episodes

Ever since Season 36, number sponsors from 1 to 10 usually get introduced with a partial remake of the Number Song--using CGI colored ribbons to form the numbers and background. I think that's what the article writer meant.

Due to my jerk-off little brother changing the channel while I was taping yesterday's episode, I can only give a partial review.
Don't worry, I know the feeling. Ever been hounded by a sibling for your muppet fandom? Now that's annoying.

Yeah it is. He uses it as a rebuttal for me calling him immature.

Plus, when ever we hear or see Harvey Firestien, my sister bugs me about it, cause he was in Elmo Saves Christmas.

The celebrity who talked about mustaches was Jonah Hill.

But this was a pretty funny episode... if anything due to how funny as heck Elmo was with the fake mustache and brown bald cap. But I think it ran too short, and they really should have had Gordon and Elmo do the letter and number of the day segments, instead of reusing the Telly and Baby Bear vest thing.

The Count's appearance was greatly appreciated, but was clearly prerecorded.

It almost seemed like they didn't know how to fill the rest of the episode up (this was an ideal place to put an Ernie and Bert Great Adventures). They had a lot of random 90's segments (when you grow up for example).

But I really like how they followed the theme of Bald caps with Grover as a Wig Salesman, and "I wear a Large Octopus on my head"

Elmo's Duck song was cute... This was definitely one of the ultra-Elmo episodes this year. We really haven't had that for a while.

And we finally see a new (was it new?) Elmo's world. But I really really loved the Groucho references. They played "Hooray for Captain Spaulding" and mentioned "Hello, I must be going!" Classic. I wonder if Herald saw that one.

Yes... Elmo's World: Eyes was indeed new. That, and Drums in the season premiere means only one more new Elmo's World has yet to air this year. Which one? Elmo's World: Frogs. Let's hope against hope a certain frog comes by as the guest, though I wouldn't bank on it.
