Wasn't sure where to post this.....
But is anyone else annoyed that the new Sesame Street fruit snacks aren't SS snacks but ELMO fruit snacks? :boo: And the funny thing is that I noticed you RARELY get the Elmo charachter (the others are Big Bird (yellow), Cookie Monster (blue), Oscar...
I was watching an ep on Noggin today where Elmo is pretending to be a plant with Stinky and Big Bird is pulling them around in the wagon. Elmo & Stinky are moving around while the wagon is moving. How did they do that? Remote control?
I believe my daughter is probably the "target" age. She just turned 2 and has been watching SS since she was 18 months. By 20 months she could identify all her letters and numbers, count to 20, and identify a triangle, circle and square, and knows the Spanish Words of the Day. All thanks to SS...

"Play With Me Sesame mixes classic Sesame Street footage with newly created games and activities where the Muppets invite children to join in."

I thought the reduced funding was due to cuts in government support and smaller patron donations? Doesn't PBS order the number of episodes based on how much money it has? I don't think Sesame Workshop has any control on how many episodes PBS can afford.
I was watching the recent "birth of baby bear's baby sister" shows and wondering how often Sesame Street has done those. I know the location episodes were multi-parts, but were there a lot of other "regular" episodes like that? I find it strange that they would do one like that since "they" were...
They weren't in any particular order, but here are the other 9
*WE DO! WE DO! (Luke & Laura on General Hospital getting married.)
*TUCK ME IN (Kay on The Young and the Restless gets a face lift and they used footage from the actress's actual surgery.)
*HURRICANE ERICA (All My Children...
They just had an article in our paper about the upcoming Reality TV show channel. The article said that it only needed to average 200,000 viewers to be successful.
Surely there are 200,000 people in the whole country that would be interested in a channel that showed the types of programs...
