Wasn't sure where to post this..... But is anyone else annoyed that the new Sesame Street fruit snacks aren't SS snacks but ELMO fruit snacks? :boo: And the funny thing is that I noticed you RARELY get the Elmo charachter (the others are Big Bird (yellow), Cookie Monster (blue), Oscar...

Sesame Street CD Boxed Set Track List

Too bad they can't release a DVD of these tracks to go along with the CD set! I'm just happy to finally have a REAL copy of "Furry Happy Monsters"!

How'd They Do That? (elmo in wagon)

I was watching an ep on Noggin today where Elmo is pretending to be a plant with Stinky and Big Bird is pulling them around in the wagon. Elmo & Stinky are moving around while the wagon is moving. How did they do that? Remote control?

Target age for SS vs. actual age of audience?

I believe my daughter is probably the "target" age. She just turned 2 and has been watching SS since she was 18 months. By 20 months she could identify all her letters and numbers, count to 20, and identify a triangle, circle and square, and knows the Spanish Words of the Day. All thanks to SS...

SESAME STREET UNPAVED: Who love the show?

Doesn't Noggin have the rights to SS for a while? So I don't think Unpaved could even been shown anywhere else.

    Strange news....

LOL, I heard that too. Now, I can understand using heavy metal and Barney as torture, but I wonder which SS songs they played!

    Sesame Character Questions

How many full sized elephant characters are there? I didn't even know they had names! I know there's the one with the British accent that chases the monsters in Monster Clubhouse, and then there's that other one with the ANNOYING voice that occasionally wears a tu-tu.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 34

You'd think SS would be a lot cheaper to produce than other shows. For one thing, a large portion of their show is made up from "re-purposed" material (old clips), so it's really just 15 minutes to put the "Street" segments together and getting all the clips together that match the theme.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 34

I can't believe we've gone through a whole season's worth of episodes in a little over a month! :boo: :boo:

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 34

Lordy knows we've got enough SS merch in this house to pay for a few episodes! (The electronic bongos are pretty cool)

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 34

I thought the reduced funding was due to cuts in government support and smaller patron donations? Doesn't PBS order the number of episodes based on how much money it has? I don't think Sesame Workshop has any control on how many episodes PBS can afford.

Best and Worst Sesame Guest stars

    Multi-part episodes

I was watching the recent "birth of baby bear's baby sister" shows and wondering how often Sesame Street has done those. I know the location episodes were multi-parts, but were there a lot of other "regular" episodes like that? I find it strange that they would do one like that since "they" were...

    Sesame Street Unpaved off Noggin...

They just had an article in our paper about the upcoming Reality TV show channel. The article said that it only needed to average 200,000 viewers to be successful. Surely there are 200,000 people in the whole country that would be interested in a channel that showed the types of programs...
