LOL, Boober would definitely agree. I saw a copy of the screenplay on ebay one time. The funny thing is, the project isn't dead yet. There are still filmmakers and actors who want to do the thing.

Goosebumps--the books and TV series done by R.L. Stine--did a version of that idea that was also loosely inspired by Phantom of the Opera in the book/show called Phantom of the Auditorium.

I might not be heavily set and it may be coincidence, but seeing deaths like that occur is unnerving to say the least.
