    ;) Moulin Scrooge Menu :flirt:

This is the Moulin Scrooge (Rouge) theme from the Muppet’s Christmas special on NBC a few years ago.

A red curtain, with golden letters reading Muppet Central, rises to reveal a gold-trimmed theater stage with red curtains framing either side. Santa, on his sleigh in the center of the composition, is swiftly eclipsed by the words Happy Holidays in gold. Bunsen’s head fills the glowing moon amid the snowy blue night sky.

Three Muppet penguins are on the far left side. Upon rollover, three green singing Elfises pop up. Scooter peeks through the window of a spinning windmill adorned with red lights on the blades. Upon rollover, a glowing green fluttering winged Robin as the Green Fairy flies in (and out on rollout). Next to him a sunglass wearing Gonzo appears with a cane in front of a lit building. Top hat Fozzie with a red coat raises his candycane cane on rollover. Right of the greeting the gold top hat wearing “Saltine” Piggy in a red dress perks up and sparkles on rollover. There is a blinking Moulin Scrooge sign next to her and a swing underneath. A tuxedo Kermit pops up on rollover. To his right, a tuxedo Pepe pops up on rollover. Three cabaret chickens are positioned to the far right. On rollover three dancing girls, with Janice in the middle, dance and kick their legs.

    Happy Holidays!

Wow... So much work. Is that the infamous Scarecrow Scooter peeking in at the windmill? The cabaret chickens, do they differ in any way from normal Muppet chickens? And who/what are the other two dancing girls?
    Thanksas always Jamie.

It's more of a Moulin Scrooge themed Scooter in the windmill. The cabaret chickens are just normal Muppet chickens, one with a golden top hat, others with dancing girl feathers etc as in the special. The other two dancing girls are anything Muppets featured as dancing girls in the Very Merry Muppet Christmas special. I remember making this menu the Christmas after its Thanksgiving weekend broadcast. Phillip and others helped with finding images. In some cases I had to find my own. Parts of the set are actually filtered pieces from Moulin Rouge. :zany:

:)Happy New Year Manhattan Melodies Menu:rolleyes:

A purplish-blue backdrop of a starry night sky with a moon appears as a New York prop-like cityscape rises up in front of it. Magenta, blue and yellow confetti explode in tiny gusts across the screen. Fireworks of the same colors burst in the background. Four Manhattan Melody Muppets (dressed in shimmering magenta, silver and blue tuxedos and top hats from the Muppets Take Manhattan) slide in to frame the Muppet Central logo in yellow.

Miss Piggy appears (with normal shoulder-length hair instead of the bad 80s perm), Kermit is next to her, Fozzie and Gonzo are to the right of the logo. The classic New Year’s ball drops. Pepe is straddling the ball of twinkling lights that blink the number 2008.

The rollovers from left to right include Animal (with cane), Scooter (with cane), Rizzo pops up next to Miss Piggy, Kermit tips his hat on rollover as does Fozzie, Camilla pops up next to Gonzo, Janice pops up as does Rowlf. They are all dressed in the same costumes.

Coming soon: Muppet Central 10th Anniversary Menu, Fraggle Rock 25th Anniversary Menu and the Valentine Menu.

    Happy New Year All!

Wow... That's a great menu. It surpasses last year's with the lone saxophonist which Prawny immortalized in fic form as "Days of Auld Lang Syne". Thanks Jamie... Looking forward to the other anniversary menus.

I love the Manhattan Melodies menu, one of the best, captures the mood perfectly (and it's my favorite Muppet movie hehe)!
