Couple of questions for Muppeteers

Ouch...:concern:

It's like I said...a massage therapist could have made a small fortune working on the Muppeteers' shoulders and upper backs alone. In fact, I wonder if the crew ever had a massage therapist on standby on the set?
Gosh, I don't know. I would hope they all know "tricks of the trade" so as to not physically exhaust or hurt themselves. Some of those positions they get into are really rough....

Well I remember reading a passing reference in Lewis Chester's book 'Tooth And Claw', that on one occassion 'Spitting Image' had to hastily find an osteopath to treat a puppeteer who had cricked their back on a particular sketch, after treatment they finished the sketch, and then, the producer went and cut the sketch - talk about literally adding insult to injury!
