(Kermit approaches Piggy...)
Kermit: Um Piggy, would you like to dance with me?
Piggy: Kermit!!! Oh it's you! Oh Kermie, I'd love to dance with you!
commentary: Aww, how sweet! It's here that you can really tell Piggy wanted to be with Kermit all along.:end commentary
(Shift to Rowlf onstage...)
Rowlf: Thank you, thank you, you've all been a wonderful audience. Our last song will be an old favorite of mine. I'd like to dedicate this song to my student, and friend Kermit the Frog. Kermit, you've connected your rainbows, and then some. And now, "Rainbow Connection."
Gonzo: (Blows nose) And that's not even the touchiest part!:end Gonzo
(Janice walks on stage without her wrist brace carrying her guitar.)
commentary: I knew she'd be back!:end commentary
Gonzo: Of course you did, you wrote it!:end Gonzo
Dr.Teeth:
Why are there so many songs about rainbows?
And what's on the other side.
Rainbows are visions, but only ilusions.
And rainbows have nothing to hide!
Floyd:
So we've been told and some choose to believe it.
I know they're wrong wait and see!
All:
Someday we'll find it,
The Rainbow Connection,
The lovers the dreamers and me!
(Shift to Gonzo, Beau, Statler, and Waldorf who are walking towards Rizzo, Yolanda, Fozzie, Camilla, Pepe, and Scooter.)
Statler: You're all in so much trouble!
Waldorf: You better bring a magazine, because you'll be in detention for a looong time!
Both: Do ho ho!
commmentary: Yeah! Another detention party!:end commentary
Scooter: Welll, you better start punishing, because the clocks about to strike 10.
(Everyone glances at the clock which reads 9:53 pm)
Gonzo: So, either you punish us for the last seven minutes of high school we have, or, you let us dance with our dates and enjoy the rest of the night.
Statler: Oh shoot!
Waldorf: Fine, go enjoy the night.
Statler: You know Waldorf, sometimes I think we're to soft on these kids.
Waldorf: Maybe we should retire!
Statler: Sounds good to me!
Both: Florida here we come! Yay Bikinis!
Gonzo: That's a sight I never care to see, those two in bathing suits! And I like pain!:end Gonzo
(Shift to Kermit and Piggy dancing...)
Piggy: Oh Kermie, I'm sorry I didn't listen to you when you tried to ask me to this dance.
Kermit: That's alright Piggy.
Piggy: Oh Kermie, I think I love you!
Kermit: I love you to Piggy, I love you to.

Blows nose) Ohh, that's so touching!(Blows again):end commentary
(Gonzo and Camilla, Fozzie and his Ma, Rizzo and Yolanda, Beau and his mop, Scooter and Pepe, who aren't dancing)
Scooter: Hey Pepe why aren't you dancing?
Pepe: My date es not here. Hokay?
Scooter: Well who is she?
Pepe: She es a very pretty lady from my home en Mexico. Hokay?
(A tall atractive woman walks in...)
Pepe: Der she is!!! (He runs over to her) Hola baby!
Woman: Hola mi compadre! Como estas?
Pepe: Come again? Hokay?
Woman: Pepe, como estas?
Pepe: Ai mios dios, she only speaks Spanish!
commentary: Poor Pepe...:end commentary
(Shift to the band...)
Janice:
Like have you been half asleep?
And have you heard voices?
I've heard them calling my name!
Rowlf:
Is this the sweet sound that calls the young sailors?
The voice might be one in the same!
(Shift back to dancing group...)
Gonzo:
I've heard it to many times to ignore it!
Fozzie:
It's something that I'm s'posed to be!
Kermit and Piggy:
Someday we'll find it the Rainbow Connection,
The lovers, the dreamers, and....
Everyone:
ME!!!
commentary: Do we have any more Kleenex left? I used all mine!:end commentary

Sam Eagle: That is why this senior class is so special, they've persurvered, and defined themselves as true Americans!
(The class is seen sitting behind Sam, all in their caps and gowns. In the front row is Kermit, Piggy, Gonzo, Fozzie, and Rizzo. Second row is Pepe, Scooter, Link, Clifford, and Crazy Harry. Third row is Dr.Teeth, Janice, Floyd, Animal, and Zoot. Fourth is Black Dog, Angle Marie, an empty seat, Wall eyed pike and Old Tom.)
Sam Eagle: And now, I present the senior class of Grosse High School!
(Shift to the audience where Sweetums, Lew, Statler, Waldorf, an empty seat, Rowlf, and J.P. Grosse are sitting, and aplauding.)
Gonzo(whispering to Fozzie): Where's Dr. Honeydew and Beaker?
Gonzo: Oh I know! Wait, why didn't I know then? I'm so confused!:end commentary
Fozzie(whispering to Gonzo): I don't know, that's a good quesiton.
(Bunsen and Beaker burst through the gym doors wheeling a large machine...)
commentary: I'm just gonna add the last chapter in so I don't have to post again...:end commentary
Muppet High Chapter 17:
(Bunsen and Beaker are in the auditorium with their large machine)
Bunsen: Everyone everyone please listen to me! Beaker and I have finnally finished our greatest expierement yet!
Beaker: Mee meep!
Bunsen: That's right Beakie! It's a diploma shooter! It will fire the diploma right to the graduating student! Observe! Now Beaker!
Gonzo: Why on Earth would you need one of those?:end Gonzo
(Beaker flips a switch on the machine and it starts suking in empty chairs in the auditorium, then firing them back out, hitting everyone in the room on the head with one, instantley knocking them out and making the sreen go black...)
Doctor: Well Mrs. the Frog, I'm afraid your son has a case of permanent amnesia, as do the rest of the people who were in the auditorium. They've lost all of their memory of the past two weeks. So, I suggest you take him back to where he was two weeks ago.
Mrs. the Frog: But that's all the way back in the swamp! Oh well, anything for my little Kermit.
Doctor: I also suggest you don't introduce him to any of the friends he had at Grosse High. It could create a lot of confusion for him.
commentary: Yeah, sure Doc whatever. I just needed the story to work out right!:end commentary
Kermit:
Back to the swamp? I thought I was already there. But, it's so weird. They say I forgot the last two weeks of my life, but... I remember... something... a song...
(Shift to Kermit sitting on a log in the swamp playing his banjo...)
commentary: Gonzo I've had alot of fun doing this commentary with you! I say we wrap it up here and just read the song one more time!:end commentary
Gonzo: Yeah! I've had fun to Ryan, thanks for letting me do it with ya!:end Gonzo
Kermit:

(Shift to Fozzie facing the El Sleezo Cafe...)
Fozzie:
What's so amazing that keeps us star gazing?
And what do we think we might see?
Someday we'll find it The Rainbow Connection,
The lovers the dreamers and me!
(Shift to Gonzo and Camilla driving in a plumbing truck...)
Gonzo:
All of us under its spell,
We know that it's probably magic.
(Shift to Bunsen and Beaker in their lab...)
Bunsen and Beaker:
Have you been half asleep?
And have you heard voices?
(Shift to Rowlf sitting in front of his piano...)
Rowlf:
I've heard them calling my name!
Is this the sweet sound that calls the young sailors?
(Shift to Dr.Teeth and The Electric Mayhem, and Scooter playing in the church...)
Dr.Teeth:
The voice might be one in the same!
Floyd and Janice:
I've heard it to many times to ignore it.
Scooter, Zoot, and Animal:
It's something that I'm s'posed to be!
(Shift back to Kermit...)
Kermit:
Someday we'll find it, The Rainbow Connection

(Everyone's heads fade in around Kermit...)
Everyone:
