    Hi everyone!

There is a Fraggle Rock book at Taco Bell that comes with the Kids Meal. I will check the website for more info!

It's an under 3 Toy. Just to point that out... you're going to have to ask for them. But they are much more interesting than cardboard robots.

    Sigh...

I miss when the third party fast food toys were epic. I LOVE my Cow and Chicken Super Cow from Taco Bell.

I thought fast food toys were supposed to promote something, does this mean that perhaps something new and Fragglish is brewing with the Henson company? Can't imagine that this is just a tie-in with the release of the Fraggle Rock Classics Volume 1.
  6. haha soo ill have to tell my boyfriend I want to go to Taco Bell:news:I don't like TB, but he loves it and always asks if we can eat there, and I always say no lol. I guess for Fraggle Rock I'll make an exception.:smirk::dreamy::coy::sigh::excited::busy::drool:

Henson wants Fraggle Rock to be it's main family franchise, but if there was something substantial and new coming, we'd clearly hear of it. This seems to be a 3 and under prize with generic robots being the main prize. Wendy's has a Snoopy based under 3 Meal no matter what the other tie in is. I wonder if this could be the same deal.

I suppose that any little way to boost the brand helps, but it just seems weird to have a promotional toy that's promoting a project that really doesn't have much going on with it.

I wonder if it's specifically trying to promote the Fraggles at all. It seems like a "we need an under 3 toys, someone please step up" type deal, and Henson (and or Archaia) answered the call.

But then again, Taco Bell doesn't regularly have promotional tie ins. I know a year ago they had Domo and Hero 180, but usually it's some generic thing, like the robot kits they have now. Like I said, Wendy's gives out Snoopy board books as their 3 and under promotion no matter what their regular promotion is.

I'm trying hard to look up any info. I thought Katie Cook would at least have some info on her blog or Deviant Art page (it's her art on the cover), but to no avail.

Does anyone know how many Fraggle books they have or is there just one? :smirk:

I think its just one. :sigh:

The Taco Bell I was at didn't have the sign, and it looked like they still had Wow Wow Wubzy ones instead, otherwise I would have tried to get one.

Ah. That shouldn't be too hard to collect then. The Taco Bell I called didn't have them though. They said they had a CD. :smirk:
  14. Drtooth Well-Known Member

A Music CD or a video game CD? because when I got their the standard prize was various video game CD-Roms. The Wubzy was the under 3.

They just said a CD... not sure what was on it, I just heard CD. But, I was specific when I asked if they had a Fraggle Rock book for the 3 & under toy. He said they did not. :)

Katie Cook just found out on her twitter this evening from someone that the books were officially out & said she would be posting on her blog about them this week. She also mentioned there were 3 books total.

    Here's that post

Here's Toughpigs report with an actual photo

When are these due to hit? Like I said, that Taco Bell I was near still had Wubzy. And there's usually no attention paid to the Under 3 merchandise (unless you're at a Wendy's a few years ago... I kept getting that crap and it drove me MAD! Especially during a Jackie Chan Adventures promotion).

People should let me know when these become available. Fraggles are Muppets are seriously one of the only things I can think of that would entice me to ever intend on hitting up a Taco Bell again...

Taco Bell's store locator says there isn't a single one within 100 miles if me. Ain't it just the way it goes?

    That is so random!

It's truly sad how fast food toys from fast food has devolved into "educational" activity books and cardboard "toys". Geez. For the longest time, some of the best toys available came in a kids meal. American society has TRULY gutted EVERYTHING I loved growing up: 2d animation/animatronic/imaginative films, arcades, saturday morning cartoons, non flash animation, GOOD non pandering children's morning programming, etc.

Anyways, I wonder why JHC never truly went all out with the "Fraggle relaunch". No viral youtube videos? Yeah...real smart there. Does JHC never not drop the ball?
