Well, besides my parents and people I actually know/knew some of my influences are:

Jim Henson and the Muppets

Dr. Seuss (especially after reading the book Dr. Seuss and Mr. Geisel. It's a good book)

Jim Davis

Maurice LaMarche (one of my favorite voice actors)

I'm sure there are more, but I can't think of them now...

I'm so upset that I left two biggies off the list.

Carol Burnett and David Letterman

I realized it last night and got so upset I couldn't sleep!! :frown:

Oh boy, like Nate I'll try to get all I know of down but I fear I will leave some key players out!!!! Keep in mind for me, there are things (not people) who also influenced me greatly. Here goes...

Mel Brooks + Woody Allen
John Waters + The Movie "The Midnight Madness"
Wes Craven + campy horror films like "Halloween", "April Fools Day", "Maximum Overdrive", "Friday the 13th 1 - 3"
The Three Stooges + Abbot & Costello
Miss Piggy and anything Henson (except KSY).
My grandmothers gift book to me where I was a character in "Sesame Street"
Early S.N.L. years + Members of "Upright Citizens Brigade" + the humor of "Strangers With Candy"
Actors that laugh at themselves, say random stuff and aren't afraid to do so (too many to mention)
Carol Burnett as well
"Office Space"
Red Hot Chili Peppers + Wonder Woman + Michael J. Fox (don't laugh!)
My Father + Grandparents
Martin Luther King Jr. + racing + River Phoenix + Johnny Depp
The Bionic Woman + Conway and Corman + Princess Leia + Jack Lemmon
People that have flirted & made me laugh over the years!
Humor, Horror, Lyrics & Passion.

I hope I didn't throw it off subject but these are just a touch of what I really consider influential in, or have helped me become who I am today!
