I should also add to my list Anne Bancroft,twas her role in The Miracle Worker(along with Helen Keller's book),that I studied sign-language.(Forgive my double-posting in this,since its the day after & the edit is turned off).

Oh Dee reminded me about John Lennon. This guy was clearly a genius, and it's good to see his ideals are still batting around the world even today.

Also Jim Henson is a major influence [how could I forget???] Just his general spontanuity and randomness, while still sparking a fanbase of thousands astounds me.
