  1. You SO just committed sacrilege.

    Really.

    You did.

Liberace: Rowlf instead of Fozzie and Piggy instead of Scooter
    Harry Belafonte: Piggy and Link

  5. Saironi New Member

I agree. Kermit and Lenny on the stage together would be interesting since they have the same design, right?
  6. Saironi New Member

Or OhBoy Bird, maybe perching on Avery?

#1 Juliet Prowse: Juliet, Kermit, Piggy, Fozzie, Gonzo, Scooter, Zoot (?) Snowth(s); of course these wouldn't all fit before the re-edit
#2 Connie Stevens: Connie, Kermit, Fozzie, Gonzo, Hilda, Zoot (?), Lydia, Ernie & Bert
#3 Joel Grey: I can't remember why, but I think of Zoot
    #79 Dudley Moore: a bug
#81 Beverly Sills: Fozzie, showgirl, jug-band member?
    #102 Brooke Shields: Scooter!

Here's some ideas of characters that I would've put in the Goodnights in certain episodes

#4 Ruth Buzzi: Boppity (Blue Frackle) instead of Hilda
#5 Rita Moreno: The Newsman instead of Muppy
#6 Jim Nabors: a Jugband member and the female whatnot from "Gone with the Wind" instead of Gonzo and Wanda
#7 Florence Henderson: Lenny the Lizard and the Snake Frackle
    #9 Charles Aznavour: Mildred
    #10 Harvey Korman: Robin
#11 Lena Horne: one of the Ragmops
#13 Bruce Forsyth: the duck and a Snerf instead of Gonzo
#14 Sandy Duncan: one of the Mutations

    Agreed: 4, 9, 10, 13, 18, 20, 43, 47, 57, 64, 67, 70, 72 (!)
Partial: #15 (Boppity & esp. Mildred instead of Gloat & Hilda), #68 (agreed on groupies & Hawaiian pigs, maybe the chimp as well)

For #23 Kaye Ballard, I would have Thog & Animal instead of Gonzo & Scooter. Might add Thog & one of the band members to the goodnights of #10 Harvey Korman, as well.

For #16 Avery Schreiber, Scooter was an egregious oversight. What about Wayne (to show he's all right) or Gorgon Heap (to maybe look over Shaky Sanchez as a possible meal candidate) instead of Ohboy Bird? Or Rowlf, as he appeared in, what, 4 acts in the show?

To add my own, I would've rather seen Zoot & Gloat in the goodnights of #3 Joel Grey, instead of the Banana and (I think I can barely see him) Beautiful Day Monster.

Agreed on a Jabberwocky creature, octopus, and a cowboy, and on the John Denver suggestions.

#76 Dyan Cannon: one of the Atrics
    #78 Linda Lavin: Robin
#79 Dudley Moore: the Bug Band

Agreed. Forgot about that one. He should've been in there, for "Memory Lane" alone, not to mention his brief backstage scenes.

    Episode 213: Rudolph Nureyev
Robin should reappear with a regular-sized hat
    Gorgon Heap likes this.

Robin with a regular-sized hat would've been cute. Not unlike Fozzie with Chuckie put back together in the goodnights of the Edgar Bergen episode. There was something else similar to that in another episode but I can't remember what or which.
