Muppet Freak (d.w. mckim's blog primarily about Muppet/Henson fandom) is back...kinda maybe approximately sort of...

It's moved to a new address (old host closed down...without ample warning to its users) and the archives are being reposted at the new location over the next several days/weeks.

I don't yet know if after the archives are all up if the blog itself will be back fulltime or not...but there will most likely be a few new articles in the near future (even before the complete archives are reposted) Along with the actual archives from the first host, i may also add some material i've written for other places/venues over the years as well.

Any feedback is encouraged - i'm not a technical person/computer literate at all (mainly due to NOT having a computer for the decade and a half i've been online) so if you have your own blogging experiences and can suggest ways to add features/little extras, i'm all ears. Also would like to hear article suggestions readers may want to see.

I'm not "all over the place" in various forums/social media and such so feel free to spread the word to other places.

I'll use this thread to note updates as/when/if they happen.

At any rate - the new main page is at http://muppetfreak.blogspot.com and the new introductory article ("Muppet Freak Debut... the Second Time...") is at http://muppetfreak.blogspot.com/2012/03/muppetfreak-debutthe-second-time.html

"new" posts (more specifically the original blog's introduction posts:smile:

"Introduction to the Muppet Freak Blog [From the Archives: 3-23-09]"
http://muppetfreak.blogspot.com/2012/03/introduction-to-muppet-freak-blog-from.html

"Your Host... [From the Archives: 3-24-09]"
http://muppetfreak.blogspot.com/2012/03/your-host-from-archives-3-24-09.html

Like most of the new blog's reprints most likely will include, i've put updated commentary in red print. Also since i now have the ability to include video, i included the Hey Chelsea video in the latter post. (That video feature should really come in handy since the next reprint article on deck is a look at the coolest Sesame songs ever...)

Musings on what the year's ceremony would be like after the pre-noms came out, speculation on where/if it would air and how big a part SST would play.

One of my all time fave posts taking a look at Bert & Ernie Sing-Along. "SING OUT, LUIS!"

Actually, the Muppets did get more exposure beyond once-a-year specials between 1984 and 1989. There's a number of guest appearances, PSAs, and a handful of direct-to-video series (the Playhouse Video releases, the Play-Along Videos, and the rare Interactivision releases... I feel I shouldn't mention A Muppet Babies Video Storybook).

And I can't wait to see what that third worst thing is (it can't be Studio DC because that came before the article).

The posers did get really sloppy after awhile, lol.

I don't mind Muppet Babies. If Muppet Babies is the worst thing to happen to your franchise, that's pretty darn good, lol.
