"One of the World's Most Creepiest Cartoons"

Brand new post! Not Muppet-related, but building off the theme of the above article pointing out an example of slapstick humor that subverts the usual rules with chilling effect.

Sweet! Good to see you back, and so productive, dw!

I read a few of these; will browse when I have more leisure next week. But at a glance: thoughtful, well-writ, and entertaining, with just enough graphics to nicely break up the text flow. I'd say: a hit!

Added today - our original April Fools Special!

"Our First Muppeteer Interview - And BOY, Is This Huge and a Major Coup! [From the Archives: 4-1-09]"
http://muppetfreak.blogspot.com/2012/03/our-first-muppeteer-interview-and-boy.html
After being online for less than a month, back in 2009 Muppet Freak scored its first interview with the biggest of the wigs - none other than... Jim Henson????

Part April Fools fun, part tribute, there's lots of cool Easter Eggs for Muppet fans in there. Jim spills all the dish from the origins of Frank Oz's potty mouth, what Richard Hunt's been up to and the true nature of God herself!

I agree with your Muppet-appearance choices, particularly the monsters...but I would add Newsie (even in nonspeaking bits, such as being an audience member during some of "Muppets Tonight", he has the same serious slightly disapproving air which not even Sam can bring off, which just makes the silliness even sillier) and Lewis Kazagger -- although he's been neglected most shamefully for a long time. I still felt his sudden appearance to comment on the impromptu Holiday Diamond Baseball Classic was what really made that scene!
