Muppets, Music, and Magic in Silver Spring, MD

I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned here, at Tough Pigs, the Wiki, or at the Newsflash. Or the newspapers for that matter. Am I that out of the loop?

From July 12th to August 24th, over the span of however many weekends, the films from Muppets, Music and Magic will be shown at AFI in Silver Spring, Maryland.

No special guests are mentioned as far as I can tell, but it seems that each of the rare and non-rare screenings from Long Island are being shown.

I don't know if anyone's noiticed but Henson exhibit opens at the Smithsonian on July 12th too. So if you're going, make a day of it. Go see the exhibit then go see some Muppet movies.

I just got back from this . It was a ton of fun and I'm really glad I went. It even sold out, and nothing I've ever seen at AFI has done that.
