First it was presidents hunting things, now it's fairy tale characters. Next year? 'Darrin Stephens: Witch Hunter'. Endora kidnaps her daughter and grandkids, and Darrin has to fight through the witches to get em back.

You mean "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter?" Then there was also "Red Riding Hood" with Amanda Seyfried.
Then I also just found out last night that in the new Broadway "revival" of Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella that there's this new character that's a rebel and wants to overthrow the Prince and falls in love with one of the stepsisters. (Random, but I really wanted to get this out of my system.....:stick_out_tongue:)

Nora Ephron already ruined Bewitched several years ago... but I Dream of Jeannie still hasn't been tarnished yet (despite threats that Jimmy Fallon was going to be Tony Nelson and Lindsay Lohan was going to be Jeannie, at one point).
Dr. Bellows: Genie Hunter.

We OZ fans have endured this "darkening" trend for years. I don't flip out if someone reinterprets something I like in a way I don't like, especially since Baum's Oz is now in public domain, but c'mon. How many times are we gonna see Sexy/Trampy Dorothy, Wicked Creepy Scarecrow, Axe Maniac Tin Woodman, Rabid-Looking-Not-Even-a-Lion-Anymore Cowardly Lion, and Evil Dictator Oz? Stuff like this is no longer even outrageous, it's just dull.

Off topic, but I just recently learned that Hayden Rorke was gay, apparently Barbara Eden "outed" him in her recent book (which I've been wanting to read, but haven't found); I didn't know that about him, because I have been aware of rumors that people suspected Emmaline Henry (Mrs. Bellows) was since she was never married in real life.

Yes, but there was also a take off of that movie where he hunted Zombies, and there's also a movie where FDR fought nazi werewolves that gave people polio.

Wasn't Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter based off a comic book?

If they insist on making these things, can they start coming up with better titles for them? They all are essentially the name of a storybook or historical character, with "something hunter/slayer" attached to the end of it.
