Anyone rememeber this Chunky candy bar commercial from the early 70's?
A boy is on a couch sitting next to his dad watching tv. He is eating the Chunky and in saying how good it is he keeps saying it's "thickerer". His dad corrects him each time saying, "Thicker." Finally his dad says, "Thicker. Thic ker! Thic KER!" But the boy still says, 'Yeahhh it's thickerer." The dad gives up and laughs. Then he takes a bite and says, "Thickerer." The boy says, "Yeahhh." By the way, the audio from the tv they were watching sounded like an old western (just like "Green Acres" always seemed to have on whenever someone, like Arnold the pig, turned on the TV). What did all the tv producers back in the late 60's and early 70's think that people watched was westerns? However, I do remember observing in a book on television once that in the 50's there was one point where THIRTY different western shows were on during the week! I guess people used to find those very fascinating.

Cornfields? Yeah, right! Haha! Nope. On a very busy street with cars, trucks and stores and strip malls.

How bout this one?

A guy's eating breakfast, when his roommate (a lizard puppet walks in).

LIZARD PUPPET: Hey there, are those Ego Waffles?
GUY: (Scoots plate away) Yeah, they are.
LIZARD PUPPET: Are we forgetting something? It's always nice to share!
The lizard reaches for the waffles, but the guy continues scooting plate away. Finally they get into a fist fight, until the guy ties the puppet's hands and feet together...literally! The lizard pops up on table, all knotted up.
LIZARD PUPPET: Boy, do you have some serious issues, pal!

Anyone recall the following "Divorce Court" commercial from about 1986 or 1987? This is from my best memory. I liked this commercial.

Wife: You're an insensitive, selfish man!
Husband: Thank you! Coimng from you that's a compliment!
Wife: What did I ever see in you?
Husband: Try my bank account! And this house!
Wife: Which we're losing!
Husband: Which you never clean!
Wife: How would you know? You're never here!
Husband: Give me a reason to be!
Wife: Dinner.
Husband: Burnt!
Wife: Jerk!
Husband: Nag!
Wife: Wimp!
Husband: That's it! I'm leaving!
Wife: You're staying!
Husband: I'm LEAVING!
Wife: 'Divorce Court' is on.
Husband: Okay, I'm staying.

(Narrator says: "Divorce Court. Weekdays at 10AM on..." )

Then the couple is shown on the couch in front of the television and the husband turns to the wife laughing and says, "Boy this couple's marriage is really in trouble, eh?" And she looks at him like he's nuts!
