Chapter 17 - He May Be Gone, But the Show Must Go On (Part 1)

10 Years Later
May 16, 2010

The Phillip Casson High School at the outside will filled with banners celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Jim Henson. The citizens of Hensonville packed up Jim Henson's House Coffee Shop as "The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson" came up to the one TV screen they had left right now. The others disappeared due to the decline of the population in the past few years and the tax cuts when most of the citizens that once worked at the coffee shop were layed off or fired.

Hensonville has been always there since 1955. For most of the citizens that did come back to town, they went to Rainbow Connections Cinema to see the showing of The Muppet Movie.

There were not many Muppets around at the dorms that day. Most of them either went to the Muppet Theatre to pay respects to him or they would go to Rainbow Memories Cemetary to leave some cards and messages with deep feelings of how much they appreciated Jim Henson and how his work has inspired everyone to keep on creating plus keeping your dreams alive.

As the day rolled on, the only Muppets that were hanging out in the dorms rooms were: Floyd Pepper, Janice, Dr Teeth, Zoot, Animal, Lips, Rizzo, and Oscar the Grouch. Kelly, now a senior member of the Muppet College Dorms was spending all day watching nothing, but just the TV series called, "LOST." Although sort of getting used to watching that show that was about the survival of the fittest, she didn't quite understand about the whole Jacob/MIB relationship and its plot device.

The Electric Mayhem thought it would be best to have some jam sessions at the Rock & Roll Deli, since there was nothing else to do and everybody has already went to that fun place.

The next part is coming up very soon. I appreciate if I can get any constructive criticism by now.

Overall, thank you for being patient and it's good to start writing again.
