The videos are back up, so there's no real problem anymore.
I'm not sure if you guys saw this, but I get e-mail notifications whenever Sesame Street uploads a new video. Today, I got 3 emails from them saying that they uploaded a video called, "Sesame Street New Content Special For Kids! Brought you by user/MrEdXwx." I went on YouTube and looked for it, and that's when I realize it had been hacked. Did anyone else see this?
If that was the case, the channel and all its videos would have said "This account has been suspended by..."
This was just an immature stunt by a bunch of morons that think it's so cool and jaded to be cynical about a kid's program and wanted to do something disgusting because they can. This is a YT channel little kids watch. Inappropriate nasty comments are one thing, but kids WATCH this stuff. Exposing kids to this kind of thing IS illegal. Luckily it got caught early on.
Fred's channel got hacked, too. Now that I'm happy about.
Pardon my curiosity, but what's Fred's channel?
You don't know who Fred is? Aren't you fortunate!
The funniest thing about this, he threw his name around on the channel like he was some sort of hero. Yeah, you just hacked a world famous children show's Youtube, buddy, and told us your real channels. "DUH-HYUCK, I WON'T BE CAUGHT OR ANYTHIN!"
It shows how much creativity a schmuck like that lacks. I mean, if you want to become famous on the internet, you just take a camera, do something stupid, and play the waiting game. For someone to NEED to hack into a famous account, put up lame pornographic junk just to make a name for themselves because they think they're being clever... I mean, that describes that person completely.
Bet the guy loves the Jackbutt franchise.
It looks like the channel's back up now.
At least Trekkie Monster was happy.
Is he a disgruntled former Muppet Central member or something?
Fred is an unfunny internet video guy with an annoying high pitched voice. I dunno... I never bothered seeing one the whole way through. He's TERRIBLE! I don't get the appeal at all... the Mad cartoon show made fun of him a couple times.
he also had a movie the seemed to have bomed..he kinda fell of the face of the earth in recent months....i was thinking this could have been a ex disgruntled employee
Oh, yeah... that was DTV and I don't even think I found it for sale anywhere. Maybe a week at Target or something. I wouldn't be surprised if it went directly to the bargain bin and was never seen again. It was released at the end of his wavering popularity.
I don't so much think this was a disgruntled ex-employee. I think it's just some juvenile little snot that wants to crap all over kid's programming to prove how adult and cool they are. And, these guys made themselves look like complete losers. Hopefully, they went too far putting porn on a kid friendly YT page and get something legal coming to them. Make an example of people like that.
probably i remember when his merch came out, shirts, plush annoying talking things...FYE has tons upon tons...one week it was full price the next it was 65% off
I came to the conclusion this couldn't be someone that was a former employee. They would have done something clever!
Yeah, that stuff didn't last all that long. I will say, Andy Samberg I've slowly warmed up to (if nothing else, the conversations with Bert online short was pretty genius), but Fred? I don't even know what that's supposed to be and why that's supposed to be entertaining. Also, I don't like nigahiga either. Accidentally saw like a minute... really... that's my earlier point right there. ANYONE can do that sort of crap. You don't need to piggy back on a famous site to become undeservingly famous.
Well, good news everyone...not only is the channel now back up, running, and back to normal but also the first new video since returning is the adorable I Love My Hair Muppet back with an even more delightful new song, "Change the World"
Yeah, the the comments on it are atrocious.
Well, like i said...everything's "back to normal"!
And thus with the conclusion of this whole sordid affair now behind us, all that remains is the inevitable asking of the mandatory question - "What have we learned from all this?"
Answer: In retrospect, perhaps Katy Perry's outfit wasn't so bad after all.
