Why the *beep* is Halloween banned here? Does it have something to do with Monstropolis's history?

Rex: Basically. When they banned monsters, they banned anything having to do with monsters. They even destroyed all stone gargoyles on buildings...even though gargoyles are supposed to ward off evil...

That explains why there was a gargoyle on that hundred year old picture of the city hall while here isn't one in present time.

*sigh*
All because some monsters and witches thought they were better than normal human beings ._.

*goes to Vincent's room*

Rex: That's what happens if a bat demon is killed by light magic...

*speechless; take Johnny's hand*

Rex: My great grandfather was the head of the MIB back then...the witches had the MIB fooled, along with everyone else, into thinking that they wanted peace with humans. That bat demon, a female one, could see through the witches' lies. She tried to warn the MIB, but when they didn't believe her, she took them on herself. She kept them at bay for a while, until the witches were able to cast a strong enough spell to kill her. They then donated the body, saying it was a gargoyle, as a peace gift to the mayor. And then you know what happened next. But...before she was destroyed, the MIB was able to at least save her body from destruction. She's still stone, but we do have her body in a special storage room...

*doesn't know what to say*

*eyes tear up as Rex is saying this*

*hold onto Johnny while Rex tells us all this; tears in my eyes*

Rex: I guess...here, take this key. She's in the only room down that hallway over there *points*
