Here is my fantasy roster for a sixth season of The Muppet Show. Now, if there had been a sixth season, it would have spanned 1981-1982, so the stars here are from that "era" (for the most part... I might have slipped up with a couple).

Episode 601: Dick van Dyke
Episode 602: Angela Lansbury
Episode 603: Carole King
Episode 604: Tim Conway
Episode 605: Carrie Fisher
Episode 606: Tony Curtis
Episode 607: Bill Cosby
Episode 608: Shelley Duvall
Episode 609: Shari Lewis and Lambchop
Episode 610: LeVar Burton
Episode 611: Lucille Ball
Episode 612: Dolly Parton
Episode 613: Gregory Hines
Episode 614: Lily Tomlin
Episode 615: Vicki Lawrence
Episode 616: Mary Tyler Moore
Episode 617: James Earl Jones
Episode 618: Chita Rivera
Episode 619: Placido Domingo
Episode 620: Harrison Ford
Episode 621: Mary Steenburgen
Episode 622: Robin Williams
Episode 623: Christopher Lee
Episode 624: Gene Wilder

So, who would you add, subtract, or change?

I say replace Vicki Lewis with Vicki Lawrence(Unless she already appeared on the Muppet Show, then replace her with somebody else) and you might have something there. One of the bigger stars of that time was Michael Landon. I dunno, there are a lot of people that should be on the show at that time. Good list though.

LOL, I actually meant Vicki Lawrence. Thanks for the head's up.

Yeah, Michael Landon would be good. But there are tons of talented 1970-80s people that would have been great- Teri Garr, Telly Savalas, Andy Griffith, Laraine Newman. The list goes on and on!

Oh yeah, Andy Griffith would've been GREAT too. Don't forget about Ron Howard and Henry Winkler. I think those woulda been great. No prob on the Vicki Lawrence thing. I was wondering when I looked her up what you were talking about, but that's alright.

They're all so great! I tell you, TMS should never have ended. There are just too many stars.

Mia Farrow was actually the guest star in the test pilot "The Muppets Valentine Show" which is going to be released as part of the Muppet Show Season 2 DVD set.

Yep, and I'm looking forward to it very much!

But I think it would be interesting to see her as a guest star proper on TMS. Didn't Julie Andrews do something with the Muppets before she hosted the show?
