I now present the top ten best non-"Weird Al" Yankovic songs from each decade, 1960s-2000s (I wanted to list the top ten 1950s songs, but I learned that a number of songs that I thought originated in the '50s are actually from the '60s, I might have to do some research before listing the top ten '50s songs).

    10. "Foolish Little Girl" by The Shirells
    9. "The End of the World" by Skeeter Davis
    8. "You Really Got a Hold of Me" by Smokey Robinson

    3. "Kodacrome" by Paul Simon
    2. "Silly Love Songs" by Paul McCartney
    1. "Rainy Days and Mondays" by The Carpenters

    10. "Material Girl" by Madonna
    9. "All Through the Night" by Cyndi Lauper

    3. "I Can't Fight This Feeling" by REO Speedwagon
    2. "We Built This City" by Jefferson Starship
    1. "Manic Monday" by the Bangles

(Dang it, there's so many more I wanted to list... "Hold Me Now", "She Bop", "Take on Me", "Come on, Eileen", "Christmas Wrapping", "Never Gonna Give You Up", "Power of Love", and so many more)

    10. "Don't Forget My Number" by Milli Vanilli
    9. "I Want it That Way" by the Backstreet Boys

I had no idea that music was broken into two categories: Weird Al Songs and Non-Weird Al Songs. XD

I'm not usually one for pop myself, but I've noticed more recent pop songs are a lot better than, say, pop songs of the 90s or 2000s, or at least in my opinion, so I think I'll TRY to come up with a list of the top 10 best pop songs in more recent times...

    1. "Break Even" by The Script
    2. "Hey Soul Sister" by Train
    3. "Smile" by Uncle Kracker
    4. "Bad Day" by Daniel Powter
    5. "Moves Like Jagger" by Maroon 5
    6. "Firework" by Katy Perry
    7. "1-2-3-4" by Feist
    8. "Someone Like You" by Adele
    9. "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga (seriously, that's the ONLY song of hers that DOESN'T sound exactly like "Poker Face")
    10. "Rhinos" by Randy Newman :p :p :p

Well, with Weird Al having come out with so many great songs over the course of three (and going into four) decades combined with him still being more-or-less relevant and with me being such a big fan I just had to divide the categories into two. Besides, I have broken other things into seperate categories: I've posted two top ten lists on best animated films, Disney and non-Disney, and two on animated specials, one on Peanuts specials and one on non-Peanuts animated specials. And in both cases I actually had trouble thinking up ten non-Disney animated films and ten non-Peanuts animated specials. It was easier for me to think of ten great non-Weird Al songs of each decade (though as I mentioned previously, there are a lot of additional '80s songs that I wanted to list... The '80s seems to be the best decade for music).

Actually, you know what? I think I'll substract Theodore Shapiro, bump everyone from Hans Zimmer down a level, and add John Debney to the list.

Ya know what? Since we're doing individual stuff, I think I'll do a MuzikMafia top 10.
TOP 10 MUZIKMAFIA SONGS(No particular order cause I can't come out with a ranking based on anything lol)
    Good Things Gone Bad-James Otto
    Grandma-Jon Nicholson
    Rain-Damien Horne
    Burden-Damien Horne
    Love Train-Big and Rich
Discoball-LuvjOi(Big Kenny's band before Big and Rich)
    Thinkin Too Much-Big Kenny
    Rock the Boat-Big and Rich
Beast on the Mic-Cowboy Troy(feat. James Otto)
    This Old Heart-Shannon Lawson

This was a REALLY hard list to come up with, I should do a part 2........except that would make it a top 20 wouldn't it? Also, I understand I left out the awesomeness that is Shanna Crooks, I hope to make it up to her at some point.

Crud, I also wish I could edit it to include some more Big and Rich songs.........maybe I'll make some individual list of artist FROM the Mafia........oh well, I'll do it later.
