Al may not have as a high a profile as he did in the 80's, but he does still keep busy. You might remember he did a Star Wars: Episode I spoof a few years back to the tune of "American Pie." On that same album ("Running with Scissors"), he's got a song called "Your Horoscope for Today," which is the most gleefully silly song he's done in ages, as well as being his most devastating satire since "Smells Like Nirvana." You should check it out sometime if you get the chance.

In addition to being a funny guy, Al has shown himself to be really nice and down to earth, from what I've heard. I think he'd gel well with the Muppets if they ever worked together.

I'm not a *HUGE* Weird Al fan, but I still think he's incredibly funny! And yeah, I've seem interviews and he DOES seem pretty nice & down-to-Earth!
....On the topic of cartoons, I guess I've always been more of a character-driven person. If a show doesn't have characters I like or care about, I don't watch it.
