It was very well written. And using the show's score (The "Dance Your Cares Away" Theme Song and Come Follow Me) was a brilliant move! So far, I'd love to see the production!

I know i would love to see it. Don't let someone tell you what they want. You do what you want. I know it seems that way to ask but people didn't ask to have a Puppet Musical like Avenue Q. Did they?

I want to see it and i'm already enjoying the script you wrote. I hope to see more to come. Keep up the wonderful job.

And I'm not too fond of seeing Muppet-like characters using MTV-style humor (ex: Internet is for Porn), for it unnerves me, hence why I am not ever seeing that show.

I haven't seen it only have the soundtrack. But it's still pretty funny. But i understand and it is very weird to hear those things coming from a puppet. Don't worry it was not really all that great to me when i first heard these songs but i got used to it.

It's not just weird...it's disturbing.

Certainly Henson--were he alive & as adult as some of his programs were--wouldn't have made his programs blatant and idiotic like the MTV-style humor does via repeated swears, obvious sexual situations, constant butt jokes that've been done years before by superior shows that were more subtle in their delivery, and other garbage that is--quite frankly--not all that funny, IMO.

Perhaps it is because my childhood had quality shows that were not only enjoyed by children, but were enjoyed by adults as well (ex: Animaniacs! and The Disney Afternoon), that I cannot stand modern potty humor, but whatever...*shakes head*

It's a generational thing, and I know for sure that my future children will not be watching any of the 1996 to present corporate drivel aired on TV nowadays (except a small handful).

They would be watching vintage Disney (vintage Mickey, Winnie the Pooh, etc.), retro Henson (The Muppets, classic Sesame Street, & Fraggle Rock), old school Nick (the original Nicktoons like Rugrats, primetime shows like Pete and Pete, gameshows like What Would You Do, and SNICK with things like All That), and the like.

Then why do people nowadays get such a laugh from it? On top of that, how shows like "Robot Chicken"--that take blatant shots at pop culture fabric--get Emmys is beyond me.

Glad we see eye to eye on this. I just feel there's a time and place for "adult" humor and places like Avenue Q which use Muppet-like characters are definately not it!
