Kind of a Strange Question...

It is important for us to remember that to the performers operating muppets is "just a job".

I don't know, from what I can tell all the Muppeteers are friends, from interviews and whatnot. I mean, sure, maybe some of them aren't as close as others, but it really sounds like they just have a grand old time whenever they work together... but that's just my personal opinion.

I think I've heard Frank describe his fellow Muppeteers as "brothers and sisters." I'm sure it is a familial sort of situation--complicated!

It may be "just a job," but you don't work with somebody for 10, 20, 30 years without developing a relationship. In any case, I sure would love to be a tiny little digital-Muppet fly on the wall while they're working.

Frank Oz frequently visited Richard Hunt when he was sick towards the end. You don't do that for something that's "just a job."
