There is a button that says "subscribe". I hope that somebody can explain this better.

Anyway, were the audio clips from The Frog Prince used from the special or the soundtrack? It made me wonder if the audio in the soundtrack was completely rerecorded or if the soundtrack just used dialogue from the special (or if it's a little bit of both). While listening it made me realise that some scenes must have been a bit hard to translate to audio.

I think the ones that Steve used were from the actual speical but if you were to listen to the record version it's just about the same. There is one song that doesn't sound like the speical. It's the "Frog" song. But it's pretty much the same no matter how it sounds.

I am trying to download them using iTunes, because I have an iPod and like to listen to them on my way to and from places. (I did manage to download one of them from June! :) It was very good, Steve! I wish I could listen to more.) My computer is kind of old/slow but my actual internet connection is high-speed, so you think it would be okay, but in iTunes it starts downloading, and when you look at the status of the download it says "5 hours remaining" and takes forever! And because my computer's so slow, I can't leave it downloading and do other things like check my browser, because it freezes up. So I don't often get opportunities to leave it downloading while I am gone.

Is there anything you suggest, besides letting it download overnight? ;)

I'll jump in here without having read the previous page, but my suggestion would be to download straight from Steve's website and not from iTunes. iTunes gobbles up memory and bandwidth, especially if you're using a browser at the same time. So, try right-click saving on Steve's website, and see if that doesn't have a better result.

If you've already tried that, sorry!
  5. Yep, that's what I was going to suggest as well, AngryEwok. I know that cuts down on the "on-the-go" aspect of being able to listen to it away from home, but that may be your only solution for now MrsPepper.
  6. And concerning the Frog Prince clips, they were taken from the TV special (many special thanks to Sylindebren).
  7. I really need an mp3 of the theme song from Sesame Park, the Canadian version of Sesame Street for this Sunday! Can anyone email that over to me at me@muppetcast.com? Thanks!

I am also a finalist, but I'm not going to say which one I am. :)

I like how the last two shows have included audio samples of characters from the same performer. Though in the first one, when comparing Jim henson's voices, I think it would have been better to have chosen a song where Dr. Teeth pretty much sings by himself, such as Money, Poision Ivy, or You Can't Take No For an Answer.

In the last one, with Jim Henson and Frank Oz's voices, I noticed that two of the audio clips had Kermit and Fozzie. Was there any reason for this? There are many other clips that could have been used, such as *** Willow (with Rowlf and Sam), I've Got Rhthym (with Rowlf and Fozzie), Breakfast Time (with Ernie and Cookie Monster), Lulu's Back in Town, Up and Down, or something with Kermit and Miss Piggy. I did enjoy hearing the Pigs in Space skit with Dirth Nadir, though. Maybe an audio clip of something with Kermit and Grover could have been included (they haven't sang any songs together).
  11. Thanks minor_muppetz! The main reason for the second Jim & Kermit clip was really the fact that it was such a well-known clip that I felt it needed to be included on top of what I'd already included. I also considered *** Willow, but decided not to use it because I'd used it previously in my Sam tribute show. All good suggestions though!

Plus... It seemed more than appropriate to have the second Kermit and Fozzie sketch during the montage given that Episode 16 opened with a reference to that very sketch. Good grief, the comedian's a... Well, actually, he's a podcaster host.

BTW: LMK if you want the Dead Henson songs and I can send those to you lickety split Steve.

Hey Steve, just a little something I noticed... "Ottawa" is spelled incorrectly on the poll on your site. Just thought you ought to know, since it's the capital of my country and all. ;)

And I just thought I would share, I'm still having trouble downloading your podcasts, from the site this time... my download manager says it is supposed to take an hour and a half, and the little progress bar doesn't change. Is that normal that it is supposed to take so long?

Hey Steve... Are we in another "End of the World" situation? Just asking, cause Episode 17 is nowhere to be found at the website. Can understand if it takes a bit longer to get the shows produced and uploaded... Again, just askin'.
Thanks and I look forward to the new episode.
  15. Hey count...hehe, no it's not the end of the world as we know it. I feel fine.

It's just taking longer to put this week's show together, but trust me the information you'll get out of it is great stuff! Look for it later on tonight.

Yeah... Especially when you've got two different versions of SST France to go through.
Will be busy tonight, on the TV with Monday Night and the Giants game. But I do look forward to the new episode.
  17. New show is posted! Dig in, let me know what you think everyone.

I haven't listened to the new show yet... I still have to catch up from episode fourteen!

Steve, I subscribed to the show on iTunes, finally, and I'd love to have every episode on my iPod, but it's automatically giving me episode seventeen. Is it possible to find an archive of all the shows on iTunes, or can I only get the most recent episodes?

Hi Steve. Just finished Episode 17. Will probably send you a contest entry, just for the fun of it.
Very interesting stuff, especially the info on SST France. Will have to go back to Muppet Wiki and find the new human characters you mentioned to add them to the list.
Quick question though, is Toccata a male or female character?
And not sure if you got it, but I sent yas an Email with thoughts on Episode 16... Wondering if you followed up on the Muppet Babies DVD link here at MC. And if you know there was even a parody of Muppet Babies on Muppets Tonight, called Seinfeld Babies. Might try getting that to send it along.
Oh, and about the new Sesame Street international productions, don't forget there's also a new one in development for Indonesia, you can find the info with some of the characters at Muppet Wiki. Search for "Sesame Street Indonesia", "Indonesia" and find a "Sesame Street" link there, or "Jabrik" the show's main character.
Hope this helps, take care as always.

Okay, I found the main page, and I can get every episode starting with episode eight... does this mean I can't get the first seven?

    I hate technology!
