Don't worry about picking older shows, Beth. Alot of Canadian kids shows were in reruns for YEARS, ie decades, so even though I'm younger I've probably seen quite a few of the same ones as you.

This one is Canadian too Mrs. P! I used to watch it on Nickelodeon when I was little.
My mum was nice enough to inform me the other day that this was apparantly my favourite show at one point! **hums along to the music**

I... can... go... ANYWHERE! Great choice!

Okay, here's something great! But I remember a later opening than this one, with a train. Same music, different animation. The Canadian Mr Rogers, but 10 times cooler! http://youtube.com/watch?v=FdJ1oGh3QGo

Or Fred Penner's Place! I think everyone I knew used to look for logs to climb into to see if his hideaway was on the other side. Inretrospect, that's not very safe, lol. http://youtube.com/watch?v=3cjgNARNeqk

I remember Reading Rainbow, though I must admit, the intro scared me. ... I was a sensitive kid. :sympathy:

Cooler than Mr. Rogers? Puh-leez! Nobody's cooler than Mr. Rogers. 'Cept Jim Henson.
NO WAY, man. I grew up watching both. Mr Rogers is lame, his show is about sweaters and shoes. Mr. Dressup could beat him down any day!

*horrified* Oh, no you din'nt! *snaps fingers* You DID NOT just flat out diss Mr. Rogers! I ain't never watched "Mr. Dressup", but at least Mr. Rogers has a real name. And I bet Mr. Dressup could beat down Mr. Rogers, because Mr. Rogers wouldn't hurt anybody. He would talk Mr. Dressup out of it. Trust me, it's impossible to be cooler than everyone's Favorite Neighbor........

Mr. Dressup would teach you the proper way of saying "ain't never!" and then he would open his tickle trunk and put on a great costume, and then one of his puppet buddies would come out and they would tell you a story of how wrong you are.

...

Cause you are so wrong! :stick_out_tongue:

((Actually, these two mister's were partners back before they had their own shows.))
