Wow, I would rather EAT Skittles than drink them, personally

Hmmm...sounds interesting. I'll have to look for it.

Same here, but I'm not sure whether that lasted here...

Really? Erm, yummo. :p I don't think we have that here though. If we do I wouldn't mind trying it! ;)

    I don't...:p

Really? I have to try that! I saw a chocolate payday for the first time in my life the other day. I've been wanting to try one so badly lately!:excited:

    Yeah, ditto.

Ya know, I actually wouldn't mind a Skittles flavored soft drink. Life saver has on and Jolly Rancher has one, and there both soooo good! i actually had some kind of kool-Aid flavors mixed together that tasted just like skittles, and it weren't have bad! But as far as skittle flavored Pepsi, I'm with the rest of you all.:p

There's a Life Savers soft drink?

There's a Jolly Ranchers soft drink?

    Whoa!
  8. lael New Member

HEY! Did you know that you can turn KOOL-AID into soda pop?
Just make KOOL-AID according to pkg directions then (if you're underage, get the help of an adult).
Then add a few chunks of dried ice! Careful it will bubble & boil over if you add too much too fast

I get mine at my local HYVEE grocer. It'll add carbonation to the drink not to mention who wouldn't want to drink something that has an eery fog rolling off of the top of it? Very Mad Scientist! Also works with some fruit juices, depending on your tastes.
  9. lael New Member

OH! And if you add fruit to the mix & let it sit for a little bit the carbonation will start to get absorbed by the fruit. When you eat the fruit it get's all tingly on your tongue! Pineapple, oranges, strawberries & watermelon's are the best! I usually do this sort of thing when I have BBQ's and small social functions & Holiday parties.

    Just thought I'd share.

Man, I haven't had Jolly Ranchers in general in YEARS! Do they even still MAKE them anymore?
  11. Winslow Leach Active Member

They sure do! I don't eat much candy myself, but I have a weakness for Jolly Ranchers...and anything gummi. They even make soft, chewy Jolly Ranchers now.
  12. D'Snowth Well-Known Member

Wow... I've been out of the scene or something, because I wasn't even aware they made chewy Jolly Ranchers too.
  13. Winslow Leach Active Member

    They are dee-lish!
  14. D'Snowth Well-Known Member

Maybe, but I'm not too fond of chewy candy, especially chewy caramel; that stuff gets stuck all over your teeth and it drives you crazy.
  15. Ilikemuppets New Member

    :)
Yeah! And it taste exactly like the candy, too.

I actually read that they actually discontinued the life Savers one because even though it did well in taste test, consumers thought it would taste to much like a liquid version of the candy. I remember it, and it was actually very good.

But Jolly Ranchers soft drink it kinda hard to find. I think they just released the 'fire red' flavor. People have found it at local convenience stores like 7-11 and things. But I know that wholesale places sell them by the case. Very strong carbonation, very good! Yum!

    I miss Fruitopia.
  17. Ilikemuppets New Member

Miss it? I wasn't aware that it even went anywhere? I know that that have it in the fountain at McDonald's.
  18. D'Snowth Well-Known Member

    I think that's Hi-C.

They stopped making Fruitopia around 2002 or so; I know because there used to be dozens of Fruitopia vending machines all over town, and even at my school... then they all disappeared. Man, I miss it! Strawberry was good, but grape was AWESome, especially in the can!
  19. Teheheman Well-Known Member

Actually, they replaced Fruitopia with Minute Maid. Sucks but what can ya do?

    Daniel
  20. D'Snowth Well-Known Member

Oh. Well, Minute Maid's okay; I mean they've got lemonade, and that fruit punch drink... and that's pretty much it.
