Hey, how the heck did I miss this thread? hehe.
I once heard Rowlf said the word 'son of a b----' on Arsenio, and I remember some of the not so vague inuendo on all the Land of Gorch episodes. Here are some of the ones that stick out in my mind:frown:file under 'I cant believe a Muppet just said that!')

*Miss Piggy doing her best to fake an o...I mean a 'sneeze' on Muppets Tonight for the When Harry Met Sally parody

*1974 CBS pitch for the Muppet Show
Kermit: "What the h--- was that all about?"
The Rowlf thing reminds me of one of my favorite Looney Tune Bloopers. This REALLY was animated, but never used. Porky hammers a nail to a board or something, hits his finger and says.. Eh.. Son of a .. son of a.. son of a b-b-b-... HA Ha Ha Ha !! You thought I w-was going to say son of a b^&^%$, were'nt you?"

Actually, I can remember Janice's line in GMC, "Still, the management is cheerful though the whole joints gone to h%%%." Of course that word is technically NOT a swear, unless someone say, What the H%%%, or where the H%%% are you or something.

WAAAAAAAAAAAY off topic (that it doesn't use Muppets), I got a Talespin video that's kinda risque. Balloo is off to play Bongo at Louie's. He has a pair of those drums, and you don't see him till he exits the plane. He is dressed up like Carmen Maranda, complete with fake Boobage. When Becky gives him a dirty look, he says, "What?!?! You never see a pair of Bongos before?" I think that may have been intentional!

*(Muppetfest q & a)
audience member: "So are you and Janice still tight?"
Floyd: "Well, Janice ain't so tight anymore."
*que exasperation of silence befalling the mostly adult crowd of 1100

*Finally I seriously dont want to mention Kermit's now infamous 'Porn is fine' quote as he was tricked into saying that, and obviously is not what Steve was trying to say.
I cant believe it. ive heard them say the d word and the h word, but B----...wait, now i get the joke...You see, Rowlf only dates b----es.

From the Elmo's WOrld: Happy Holidays thread

I liked the whole show (60 minutes) but if for nothing else, you must watch it just for the SS Christmas pagent. Of course Prairie Dawn is in charge, and she has trouble as usual. Bert plays Joseph (he has hay fever naturally, and sneezes through the whole thing), Rosita is Mary, and Baby Natasha is Jesus (when she stays in the cradle... they have to stop twice to look for her). The three Kings are none other than Herry, Grover, and Cookie Monster. Animals sing, Muppets cavort, this is just too wonderful to miss.
Now, not dirty mind you, but isn't it a little risque or sacreligious to bring religion into these sorts of things, especially having Muppets portray religious figures...mannn.. well, I guess it's no better than Animal being the little "DRUMMER BOY! DRUMMER BOY!!!"

I am not a die hard religious person, and I know that they're actually focusing on the REAL meaning of Christmas here (rather than going all commercial and just mentioning Santa Claus a billion times) I just wonder if anyone else had a problem with this...

That's one of my favorites. Unfortunately, my dang computer won't let me download it. I'd like to see some of those Muppet bloopers available for download, particularly when Kermit says he// and Rowlf says son of a b****.

Seriously though, I don't think anyone can answer this without having this thread closed/deleted. I'll just say this: it was a dirty, dirty, dirty, and hilariously funny comment.

I can't believe it myself...did anyone tape this? I'd love to hear (or even see this!) with my own eyes.

Rowlf hits a loud piano note

Rowlf: Welcome to family programing.
I didn't get it right, this is the real quote

Collen: I don't care if he's handsome
I don't care if he's rich
But i know he'll be my puppy lover,
and I'll be his-

Rowlf clears his throat.

Rowlf: Welcome to Family promaging.

Small detailes, but i just wanted to get it right.

Were you at Muppetfest? Well its obviously not that dirty, as Phil himself wrote the complete transcript of the conversation in that link provided. It was basically just a point of reference to let us fans know this wasnt gonna be your average fan fest.

Dude, how old are you? Think about it. Anyways, lets not get this idea the Muppets are like Crank Yankers or Greg the Bunny now. These are just rare circumstances, heh. And nothing really that would be submitted as anything above pg-13.

Hey, it's better to be a prude than a skank.

(Not to imply, of course, that *you* are a skank, but just as a general statement)
