Hi, I was flipping through Ebay and noticed you have a doll of Kermit the Frog up for sale with the description:

"Kermit the Frog Muppet Doll: Fisher Price Toys (850): copywrite Henson Assocites Inc. 1956, 1976. Hand delivered by Jim Hensen" Item# 3210447836

Are you serious that you can have it hand delivered by Jim Hensen?? For only $150??

Thanks,
Kevin

Dear Kevin:

Jim Hensen is dead and Kermit was retired by the muppets when he died. The puppet I have was a gift from Jim for art work done on his behalf. If you are interested in it let me know and make me an offer. I will consider all offers.

Best regards,
Pam

Yeah, right. And he gave me rights to the whole company, which means I, not EM.TV, owns the Jim HensEn Company.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!

Your first email was hilarious Kev, and the response was even better! Jeeze...oh by the way, I have a Disney napkin smeered with barbeque sauce that JIM HENSEN ACTUALLY USED while filming Muppets at WDW! Opening bid is $200!

Dear Kevin:

Jim Hensen is dead...
Oh, My, God!
First Jim Henson dies, now I find out Jim Hensen is dead too!
I certainly hope Jim Hanson, and Jim Henderson are O.K.
Better have Ralph the Dog and Fuzzie Bear Look into it.:stick_out_tongue:

Well, gang, from what I can gather this person is stating that she got the Kermit from Jim Henson after doing some artwork for him. The only thing that would increase the value of the doll (at this time) to what she was wanting for it would be if Jim signed the doll.

Finally, if she did artwork for such an american icon, surely she would have known how to spell the last name of the guy--especially if he was a client!!

Oh, I have sent Ralf and Fonzie to work on this Hensen guy.

And Jim Henderson is just fine.

OH! One other then, we have a customer here in memphis who's name is James Henson!! No joke!! He called in one day and said, "This is Jim." I said, "Jim who?" He said, "Jim Henson." I got really quiet and said, "No it isn't, he's dead!"

It's James C Henson born in 1932.

Bet he gets the good seats when he makes reservations, huh?

I love how "Kermit was retired by the Muppets when he died" Yeah, except for four movies and two tv shows.
