Sorry for the delayed reply but i've had a lot of things on my plate this last month...am finally catching up on some threads...

Even though i don't think it ultimately matters if they're "true" Muppet songs or not (esp since the original poster included Mahna Mahna), but since you asked about Something's Missing, it was a song written by someone other than the Muppet team. (Paul Tracy)

Paul Tracy, eh? Was it ever recorded by any other artist? Paul Tracy himself, perhaps? I'm rather lacking in knowledge about it and starvingly curious. It's a wonderful song. Still, good to know, and thank you!

This is a fraggle song but hey they are still Muppets....

Petals of a Rose

and Junior Gorg's Universe...

I know the universe is everywhere
It's full of radishes and things
It's full of air
But when I try to understand
I always wonder in despair
How wide, how far, how real...it is

And if the universe
Is made like me
It must get lonely in the dark
And ask for tea
And is there anybody here
That really knows just how to see
How wide, how far, how real...it is

The universe is real
But no one will reveal
How wide, how real...it is.

Great song Jackie. In my opinion it was one of Richard Hunt's best moments.

I'm so excited that they're releasing a new Muppet cd (who let the frogs out) bc it has some of my all time favorites on there--Rainbow Connection, Happiness Hotel, etc..
Also, even though its not exactly Muppets, its still Henson, I like 'Magic Dance', 'Chilly Down', and 'Underground' from Labyrinth.

Yeah, Labyrinth is Henson, but when I think of Labyrinth I think of Bowie. As The World Falls Down is amazing and so is David Bowie.

In no particular order...

- Time in a Bottle (can't believe no-one mentioned it)
- Mahna Mahna
- Onions
- Hawaiian War Chant
- Dance Myself to Sleep
- I Don't want to live on the moon
- Do De Duck
- Elephant Elevator Operator
- pretty much all the Don Music ones

plus more that I can't think of at the moment

Yes I truly agree

But you sure can't beat:

"Look buddy, I don't take my clothes off for anybody, even if it is 'artistic.' "

LOL!
