Lessee, so many to choose from!

THE MUPPET SHOW:

"Upidee"
"In The Navy"
"You And I And George"
"The Guest Star Song"
"She Loves You" (sung by those buggy critters)
"For What It's Worth" (sung by the woodland creatures)
"Mr. Bassman"
"Flight Of The Bumblebee" (well, it's actually Gonzo eating a tire to the tune of "Flight Of The Bumblebee"...)
"Coconut"
"Cottleston Pie"
"Simon Smith & The Amazing Dancing Bear" (I bought Randy Newman's "Sail Away" CD last year, mainly for that song)
"Tenderly"
"Sax & Violence" (especially the dialogue between Zoot & Nigel at the beginning)
"While My Guitar Gently Weeps" (as sung by Floyd...Jerry at his BEST!)
"Little Saint Nick" (To this day, no matter who sings that song, I can't listen to it without yelling "RUN RUN REINDEER!" like Animal does!)
"We Wish You A Merry Christmas" (with John Denver)..."WON'T GO! WON'T GO! WON'T GO!"
"Hugga Wugga"
"Lullaby of Birdland" (I just love the concept of Fozzie getting his shades then getting deshaded)

SESAME STREET:

"What's The Name Of That Song?"
"The First Day Of School" (see my Count Von Count post on the Sesame Street board)
"La La La"
"I Love Trash"
"Bein' Green" (Sinatra's version of this song almost made me cry! Same for Tony Bennett!)
"The Limerick Song" (from "Bert & Ernie's Sing Along")
"Count It Higher"
"Born To Add"
"Count Up To Nine"
"Mad"
"With Every Beat Of My Heart"
"Telephone Rock"
"Letter B"
"A Cat Had A Birthday" (as sung by David on "Happy Birthday From Sesame Street")
"Do De Rubber Duck"
Grover's Mexican Waiter song (OLEOLEOLEOLEOLEOLEOLE...*CRASH*)
"The Twelve Days Of Christmas"
"A True Blue Miracle" (original w/Olivia and David, not the new one w/Hoots and Elmo...nothing against Hoots, of course!)
"I Don't Want To Live On The Moon"
"Frazzle"
"MMM Monster Meal"
"Sing"
"Stick Out Your Hand & Say Hello"

FRAGGLE ROCK:

"Do It On My Own" (you go, Karen!)
"Let Me Be Your Song"
"Turn Around Now"
"The Beetle Song"
"Catch A Tail By The Tiger"
"Dum Of A Son Of A Gun"
"Brave Boy, Jump Up"
"Muck and Goo"
"Feel So Sad"
"Goodtime Goombah Soup"
"Perfect Harmony"
"Our Melody"
"The Remembering Song"
"Follow Me"
"Easy Is The Only Way To Go"
"Trash Is Back In Town"

MUPPET MOVIES:

"Can You Picture That?"
"Night Life"
"You Can't Take No For An Answer" (Zoot's solo is awesome)
(Does anyone see a theme developing here?)
"Saying Goodbye"
"One Little Star"

OTHER MUPPET TV SHOWS:

"Barbecue"
"Riverbottom Nightmare Band"
"Once In A Lifetime"
"Dancing With Myself"
Seymour & Pepe's theme

My favorite song from The Muppet Show is one that I can't believe nobody has mentioned yet. My favorite is...

Scooter-Six-String Orchestra

This is such a great song. It is extremely catchy and has just a great feel to it. Other favorites of mine are:

Robin-Halfway Down The Stairs
Gonzo-Workin' At The Carwash Blues
Gonzo-Won't Somebody Dance With Me
Link, Fozzie, Gonzo, Scooter and Robin-Nothing Like A Sailor's Life
Brooke Shields and The Muppets-I'm Falling
Rowlf-The Cat Came Back
There's also a song I don't know the name of but it's all piano. It starts out Rowlf is playing the song and then Fozzie comes up and they play together. Plus, there's some great lines in the skit.

There's also a ton more I can't think of right now.

I mentioned this a while ago, but if you want the original version of "Six-String Orchestra", it was performed by Harry Chapin on a CD entitled "Verities & Balderdash", and is still in print. I can see why Jim Henson wanted to use this song for "The Muppet Show". Also, the original version of "Workin' At The Car Wash Blues" is on Jim Croce's "best of" CD, entitled "Photographs & Memories".

Gonzo is that Fozzie and Rowlf song Hi Diddly Dee. That's the only one I can think of. I also like Animal sings Gershwin:smile:

I like Angus McGonagall and Mark Hamill gargaling Gershwin together. If it even counts as a song that is!
