Now that's a good idea!
Yeah, I always liked stories about boarding houses. I remember The Muppet's Valentine Special had a bunch of Muppets living together in some kind of house, and Kermit was one of them. That was a nice setting.
of corse if ya think about it they never left the theater in TMS so thy might have lived there to.
I second vic romano's notion! Great idea! kinda like the "real-life" episodes of MT.
I agree Andy.
Moi did already state this idea
Only kidding. Realy, two people thinking the same thing kind'a makes it a definate idea, no? Would be great if they did do it like this. Whatever they do though, I hope it is good quality entertainment, not crumby Reality Show style. I mean, it can be Reality Show, but not a crumby one. See what I'm saying?
"I'm a Muppet, Get Me Out of Here?"
"Big Brother in the Big Blue House?"
HA! Now that's really funny!
I try to please.
You know what they say, great minds think alike
In that case why does Moi's brain thinks like Yours?
Those are good ideas Beau. LOL!
Here is a summary of the information we have been able to gather concerning the reality show pitch pilot...
The article said, "The special could potentially air alongside the Muppets’ Wonderful Wizard of Oz movie next May. Or it may never make the airwaves."
It would be a cool thing to see added as a fun extra on the Muppets’ Wonderful Wizard of Oz DVD (and after the film on the VHS release).
Mr. Chapman; I'd imagine that being responsible for MC, you'd have a decent "in" as to getting this info, why is Disney seeming to be so hush, hush about it?
In the immortal words of Mr. Horse on the Ren and Stimpy Show... "No sir, I don't like it!"
Can't state it any better than that!
"The reported plot is that the Classic Muppet characters (not the Henson performers) would be auditioning new puppeteers, potentially in an American Idol format. Characters like Kermit, Miss Piggy and Gonzo would be the judges auditioning new puppeteers."
Does this make any sence to anyone? I don't see what they mean... How are they thinking that would work?
Are they auditioning puppeteers to work for them? Or take over who operates them now? It's weird.
I really don't understand this...
Muppets and reality tv?? I really don't like it. Why can't we have a show starring the muppets and not a cheesy fad item.
