This sounds really cool. There are several celebrity guests' songs on Sesame Street that I've wanted to hear but never have. Now I'll have the chance!

Some tracks I hope to hear on this set:

•Anything from the Stars Come Out LP
•"Furry Happy Monsters" by REM
•Lou Rawls's ABCs
•Stevie Wonder's "Superstition" and "1-2-3" beginning song
•That friendship song with Erykah Badu (or whoever that was)
•That Mariachi song that Linda Ronstadt did with Elmo and Parker Monster
•Judy Collins's "Fisherman Song" as seen on SSU #796 ... MAYBE

Boober Gorg, just so you know... The song recorded by Stevie Wonder included in your wants list is incorrectly titled. The song's name isn't "Supersticion", but rather the real name of the song is "Very Supersticious." And I agree, that's one of his songs that I myself like very much also. As stated before, I hope that Smoky Robinson's "U Really got a Hold of Me", a spoof of his own song "You Really got a Hold on Me" gets included too. Hope this helps and have a good day.

No he's right, it's Superstition. Originally released in 1972.

Very superstitious, writing's on the wall,
Very superstitious, ladders bout' to fall,
Thirteen month old baby, broke the lookin' glass
Seven years of bad luck, the good things in your past.

When you believe in things that you don't understand,
Then you suffer,
Superstition ain't the way

Very superstitious, wash your face and hands,
Rid me of the problem, do all that you can,
Keep me in a daydream, keep me goin' strong,
You don't wanna save me, sad is my song.

When you believe in things that you don't understand,
Then you suffer,
Superstition ain't the way, yeh, yeh.

Very superstitious, nothin' more to say,
Very superstitious, the devil's on his way,
Thirteen month old baby, broke the lookin' glass,
Seven years of bad luck, good things in your past

When you believe in things that you don't understand,
Then you suffer,
Superstition ain't the way, no, no, no.

Wow...this is one of those completely misunderstood lyrics case for me! Thanks for clearing that up, Scott!

I always thought the line went: Superstition is the man! As for the verses, it was just toe tappin' fun for me!

OK, I need to correct myself. When I wrote the title of that song, I wrote it thinking of the Spanish spelling of the word. My post's answer should state "Superstition" and "Very Superstitious."
Scott, if what you say is true... Then why was it that on the defunct game show named Happy Hour hosted by Ahmed and Dweezil Zappa, they said that the male contestants got the name of the song wrong when they guessed "Superstition" and said that the song's title was "Very Superstitious"? Thanks and have a good day.

"Sing" by Dixie Chicks
"Like The Way I Do" by Melissa Etheridge
"Nasty Dan" by Johnny Cash
"I Love Trash" by Steven Tyler :flirt:

More tracks I hope to hear on this set:

"Your Grouchy Face" by James Taylor
"Bein' Green" by Ray Charles

I Ok let me tell you what happen a 3 or 2 months ago I won on ebay an old tape from the 1990 of JIM HENSON Celebrbites Sesame Street
This tape is on half.com if you want another one: be a little careful of the quality, the first one we got dropped out. The company was happy to replace it for me, though.

It's also in our library on CD, but I can't find it anywhere! The CD has a terrific photo album not included in the tape...sigh.
