I think the hair is okay, it's just a little too neat. If it was messy-er and a little more crazy it would be fine. Animal's nose definitely needs to be bigger. The original Animal's nose starts just inbetween the eyes and hangs in a teardrop shape.

Imagine how big the Fozzie replica would be. He must be more than twice the size of Kermit in height and width. lol. I dread the think of the shipping cost to the UK for him.

To be honest, if the next replica looks as good as the Kermit one, I will be desperately trying to get the money together to buy it, whatever the cost. :halo:

I ordered it online from a "movie replicas" specialist that turned out to be in Canada. The replica itself cost $190, shipping was $100 and I had to pay import tax when it got here. It was worth it tho.

Thats more than it costs to send to Australia if you buy with the right seller. Some charge 3 times that to Australia.

Hi all,

OK! I have been meaning to write this for sometime but things have been keeping me occupied like cleaning my workshop which doesn’t look like I have accomplished very well, getting Christmas presents and getting ready for the Holidays. So now here it is New Years day and I’m finally here to respond to your comments. First off I hope that Traveling Pat was able to work out the problems that he had with the MySpace.com although it doesn’t really matter with KermieBaby47 and mrsieve posting the pictures on their sites which I was hoping would happen, thanks guys.

I want to thank you all for the positive comments that you guys made and thank you all for the encouragement that you guys have given to me as well. So, Thank you EVERYONE!!!!!!

Bear man asked me what improvements that I feel that are due. With Gonzo I am very happy with so I can’t think of anything with him right now. There are three things that went wrong with my Animal posers. First was the hair, Nuff said and the other two items where the lower eye lid bags and the nose. I would have changed these things but sadly there was just no time to change them due to the deadlines. The nose had two problems and one was due to the fact that both fleece and foam patterns for Animal’s nose did not match up at all. So for Animal poser #1 I just used the foam nose and that worked out ok but if Animal is fleeced then so should his nose so I used the fleece nose for the second Animal poser but as I said the two patterns did not match up at all. The pattern for the fleece was smaller than the foam nose. So I had decided that I would use the fleece version and stuff the foam nose inside of it. Then I royally goofed by being in a hurry and hot gluing the nose onto the face. I did the same thing for the bags under the eyes. If I had tried to take them apart to fix them I would have ended up destroying him and I didn’t want to do that. Another reason I didn’t change the nose was that I ran out of the colored fleece for the nose and that would have taken time that I didn’t have to dye a new batch and time was not on my side so I gave up and sent him in to Master Replicas.

Now not to worry I made a building manual for the people who would be mass producing these guys in China and I told them the problems and how to change them. The moral of the story is: “DON’T DO DUMB THINGS TO SAVE TIME!!!”

Now I have seen on other posts that people have been predicting who they think are going to be the next posers. I was told who maybe the next two posers but I will not say until I know 100% who they are. Once I know I’ll let you guys know. Well I guess that’s it for now. I want to wish you all Happy Holidays and have fun and be safe in the New Year.

Take care guys

Terry Angus
