Love it, but how do I get it next to my membername

Love the avatar that scarecroe made for me, but could someone walk me through the process of getting it next to my membername?

Go to user cp at the top left of the page; edit options; scroll down to change avatar; choose the file that you saved on your hard drive and submit modifications.

I did that, but now I'm getting a "this is not a valid file message. Bear with me, I'm not very computer savy. I apologize. :(

Did you save the file to your hard drive first? You need to upload the file from your hard drive, not from the link Scott provided.

With a Mac, you should just be able to drag and drop it onto your computer. Click on the picture, drag it to your desktop while holding down your mouse button. Hope that helps.

;) Don't be so hard on yourself, it took me a while to get used to your Mac. It's even worse when you use a Mac at home and a PC at work! I forget what I'm doing half the time.
