Remember, it's not just about sounding the same, it's also about being able to match the character's personality. I think we'll see the true test in the next special.

David sounded nothing like Scooter on DC studio live. Ricky was far better and should continue. Brian was good as well. David's Scooter just sounded like every other character he does.
Ricky and Brian's Scooters sounded like Scooter did during the first season of The Muppet Show. But I think David Rudman captured the character that evolved over the fifteen years that followed.

I like David and Ricky's the best... aside from Richard's.

Look, here's my two cents about the scooter recasts.

Adam Hunt - It's way too hard to tell if he's close to Richard's since he has one brief line, but he might have worked for a longtime performer.

Brian Henson - He tried to do his best, but really he didn't match very well, he tried to make him sound nerdy, but in the end he would have worked longtime, but fans would be annoyed.

Rickedy Boyd - PERFECT, WHY ISN'T HE SCOOTER'S PERFORMER!!!!!!!!

David Rudman - Close match, not as good as Boyd, but eh whatcha gonna do
