Heh, Red has a way of getting on people's nerves every so often, and since she and Boober are such opposites... but by the time of this story it's been going on that it's taken as normal. Squabbles get forgiven and forgotten very quickly. Plus, I think that even Red would think it worth the indignity to get Boober to loosen up enough to plot such a prank on her. "Well played, you magnificent Fraggle."

I looked at the mouth again, and realized that, besides the strange camera angle--who ever sees Boober from below? He's so small and slouchy--the flat black of the mouth wasn't working for me. It merged the outlines with his mouth, making him looking like he was screaming instead of snarling. I went back and tweaked his mouth color, and also eliminated the outlines on the ripples around Red because they looked too busy.

Windswept Fraggle: I just came off an intense session of Silent hill 2: Born from a Wish, and needed to draw something silly and easy to detoxify. So, here's Janken posing for a photo to send back home. It's plain he's vain about that mane of his, so it would pain me to rain on his sunny day (in Spain?) by telling him that he's got a dire case of girl hair.

I promise, I'll give Jan a bleedin' rest and draw some name-brand characters soon.

I'm back. Didja miss me?

Guardian BOoBer: a ReBoot/Fraggle Rock mashup, done on a dare for a ReBoot message board.

Raggle Fraggle Doodle Dumpling: Yet another Fraggle-centric doodle dump. Most of it is inspirational thumbnails for a story I'm currently writing, "Commonplace Miracles." There's a few bits based on Masks, and some random stuff. Some of the comments on this pic nearly broke my brain.

Very nice, as a fellow reboot fan. I enjoy Guardian Boober.
Also, do you happen to remember what the release date for the box set is?
5. Slackbot Well-Known Member

Glad you like him. I thought of doing Glitch Boober, but for that I'd have to cover him up in pots and pans. He'd collapse under the weight.

There are several DVD releases coming up. If you're like me and already have seasons 3 and 4 on DVD, you can order seasons 1 and 2 from Amazon, $20, to be released on March 1. If you're really in need, then you can order The Definitive Mainframe Edition, exclusive to Shout!Factory, for (choke) $69.97 plus a hefty shipping bill, also to be released on March 1. Or if you're sane you can wait a few more months for the full box set to become available at a non-ridiculous price elsewhere.

Heh... Have you considered a Dot MOKetrix?
7. Slackbot Well-Known Member

I don't know, Dot is an aggressive businesswoman and Mokey is a dreamy free spirit. I do have a mashup idea for Mokey in mind, but it ain't ReBoot. Maybe I'll draw it tonight.

Wembley would make a dandy Enzo, especially to Guardian Gobo. That flying tackle...

I'm not at all familiar with ReBoot, but I still got a good kick out of the picture.

Thanks. If the viewer's amused, then I've done what I set out to do.

Here be another pair of pics. I been a busy little doodler!

Fraggle Melodrama: an illo for story-in-progress "Commonplace Miracles." Poor Boober, he can't even be alone with his grief. This isn't another Boober story, BTW; Gobo's got the spotlight this time. I'm just more comfy drawing Boobers.

"You're Not Mokey!": I'm an unabashed gamer nerd, and when I saw I Want To Be You while going for the UFO ending on...a certain video game...this popped into my mind. It's not a good enough concept to flesh out into a story, but it brought some fun images to mind. I think this is my best picture ever of Gobo, because this time he's actually recognizable.

You, You're not Mokey... You're one of the Kung-Fu Creatures on the Rampage! 2!

Sorry, that's the only refurrence I could draw upon to reply.
11. Slackbot Well-Known Member

Sorry, that's not it. It's a pretty visual thing, based heavily on the style of the game. However, you got the number right. ;)

Weft: The weaver in Commonplace Miracles who moonlights as a midwife. Doesn't she have "gramma" written all over her?

The previously-posted "You're Not Mokey" is based on Silent Hill 2. "Silent Rock" would make a nifty fic, wouldn't it?
13. The Count Moderator

Heh, if you're going that way, then check RedPiggy's fic Silent Hensonville. She's done great stuff in her interwoven multi-Hensonverse.

Her eyes are a bit like, you know, freaky.
15. Slackbot Well-Known Member

There are background Fraggles with eyes like hers, if you mean the size. If you mean the color, heh heh, well...
16. ilovemusic Active Member

Daah? Background? I didn't finish watching the 1st episode, and didn't see them. Yes, I ment the size.
17. Slackbot Well-Known Member

Background Fraggles = Fraggles who don't have major parts in the series, or in many cases names, but are often seen in the background.

Fraggle Brush Spirit Odorigami: This is an idea I've had knocking around in my head for about a year now. In the game Okami 13 gods based on the Japanese zodiac bestow various brush techniques on Amaterasu. Here is a 14th, whose power is music. With this brush technique, used by drawing a musical note in the air, Amaterasu can draw magic out of the sounds of nature, and end battles by making enemies stop fighting and dance their cares away.

THIS. This is neat. I really like it a lot. :)
20. Slackbot Well-Known Member

Thanks, Puckrox!

Fraggle Bones: Keeping with my tradition of freaky Fraggle art, here's... something. No Fraggles were harmed in the making of this picture, honest. He's just sleeping.
