I guess that was true some times, especially in "Follow That Bird" and "Christmas Eve on Sesame Street" where he had to get tough with Big Bird. But he just was like that because he cared. But then again, I guess Hal was like that too.

I was thinking of starting a Roscoe Orman appreciation thread, but I haven't had the time. I remember so many moments on the show with him that it might take a while to post all I want to say. That's a good thought though.

I don't know if Hal's still living or not. I know Matt Robinson died recently and I've seen clips of him on "Sesame Street" and I know of other projects he did, but sadly I really can't say that about Hal.
