That sounds great Hans, lets cross our fingers that they will show every episode this time

Edit: Just sent a mail to DR asking about their plans with The Muppet Show this time

    :smirk:

I'am sorry but the answer is not one that you will like.
So far it's only reruns from DR2 and only uptill 28/05 :(

    The Full text (In Danish):
"Som det ser ud i øjeblikket er det genudsendelserne fra DR2 og er programsat til og med Muppet Show 20050528 14:10:00 DR1."

    What a shame.... :boo:

We almost knew this was going to happen. This is so typical!
Luckily I have them all anyway.... :)

OK, just for the few Danes who might be interested in this:

The Muppet Show will air daily from next week on DR1 (Monday 21 March-Monday 28 March). I think it´s because of the easter holidays...! Really great to have daily shows on the air, but still a shame it´s only reruns of the episodes, previously shown on DR2. Just thought I would let you guys know! :halo:

Thanks for telling that Hans, I haven't noticed that

    Good news!

It seems that we "at least" will get 1 episode, not previously shown on DR2.
Next Saturday the show guest starring Arlo Guthrie will be shown.

Just thought I would let you know... :)

Another interesting TV appearance for the Danes:

On Monday 9th, "Barracuda" will be showing a 30 minute "behind the scenes" of The Muppet Show, at 5.30 pm (17.30)! I have no idea what this is!!!
It´s probably just old clips from older specials like "Of Muppets & Men", "60 Minutes" and such, but I could be wrong! It would be nice to finally see a Danish "behind the scenes" special of TMS, maybe with Jacob Stegelmann (from "Troldspejlet") as the narrator?

Just thought I would let you guys know!!!

    I haven´t either, but I saw a picture/description of it in "Se & Hør"!
I´m really looking forward to see, what they are going to send! :)

I'am looking forward to it too, I can see that it's part of the regular segment they have where they look into movie magic. I think it is a US produced show where Jacob does the voice over.

    WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!!!!!!

10 minutes of stuff we already have seen(and have btw!), and NOTHING about The Muppet Show....! Shame on Danish TV for sending this piece of junk!!!

Yeah it was disapointing....it was focused on the creature shop..there where a few clips from JHH and a very small one from SS. And then alot from neverending story 3 and some of the behind the scenes clips from Labyrinth and dark crystal.
But then again everything with muppets are condsidred "The Muppet Show" in denmark..even Muppets Tonight was promoted as "The Muppet Show" in the tv guides.

You're really lucky. I was so disappointed when Hallmark (formerly the Oddessy Channel) stopped showing The Muppet Show.
