When a Muppet says...

I started this thread with the Swedish Chef and I'll continue it (with thanks to all who have posted) by mentioning that his "Hoo, hoo, hoo" laugh is one of the Muppety things that really makes me smile as of late.

I think it's more of a Bill Baretta tweak than one of Jim Henson's original affectations for the character, but I still like it. It even works in a sad song like "Pictures In My Head" and especially in "Christmas Smorgasbord" from A Green and Red Christmas. (There are so many ways that song could have been a train wreck, I can't believe it works as well as it does.)

One of the best lines I ever heard uttered by Gonzo is after he flings himself infront of Beua's taxi. "YEAH, IT'S GREAT WHEN IT WORKS!"
I could easily see that as being a Looney Toons gag.

i love when kermit scrunches up his face and says oh piggy.... you can really feel the love

Okay. This one just makes me lose it every single time. I don't know why. I think this line could only have happened in The Great Muppet Caper:

Kermit: "I think I'll read for a while."

*beat*

I liked it when the gangster "Foozie Bear" from the new Muppet Movie says "Wacka Wacka" (Even though that's not spelled right, I figured I'd post it just like he might say it". I can also tell you that anything the Swedish Chef does his hilarious! I like it when Statler & Waldorf are curious as to what the Swedish Chef might cook up, and that "Swedish Meatballs" episode: "15 LOVE!"

I loved it when Gonzo said this in an interview:
Woman: What are your influences for your act? I love Experimental Theater.
Ah. Experimental Theater! My great love. Thank you. We'll have dinner together and live together after the show.

i love the new saying what the wocka? that gangster fozzie says in the muppets and i love when regular fozzie say no problem!! in the muppet movie

I love when Beauregard says, "Ri-ght" and scrunches up his face and you know that he has NO idea what he has just been told but he's gunna give it a try anyway.

My husband like "you got nice teeth Jaaaaack Blaaaaack" lol

This one's been making me giggle lately. In MTI Silver and Smollett are arguing whether to toast the voyage, and Fozzie keeps throwing drinks out of a window. A rat sticks his head in and says "You wanna knock it off with the booze? It's peeling the paint off the shuffleboard court." It's just the word "booze." That word has a lot of comic value on its own, but give it to a Muppet and its downright hilarious.

Besides, pretty much anything those vacationing rats say or do is pure gold.
