Is there a lot of filmingh on location? In Netherlands they take the muppets to a real beach and forrest for the tv show.
At those points the make a trip with one of the actors.
One time they took Pino in a car without a roof.. that was funny, because his head looked really flat because of the wind.

Do they also do this on Sesamestreet/ Sesamstrasse/ Plaza Sesamo?

Used to, Sesame Street had a postcard segments that featured Big Bird in various parts of the U.S. where we learned about different cultures and different types of land and climate. But the most remembered one (in my opinion) is where Big Bird conducts the orchestra with the children singing about America and Mexico

Pino,
Have they ever had an episode of where the actors and Pino, Tommie and the mouse gone on a trip to some other country or state? Like how Big Bird and Oscar went to Portreco and the gang went to Hawaii. Have they ever done that?

Plaza Sesamo has done quite a bit. Part of the theme song has Abelardo (the green parrot), Lola (a pink monster), and Pancho (a fuzzy, blue monster) riding a bus, and some of the "inserts" feature them playing games with the kids, or sketches. One in particular had Abelardo find a genie in a bottle (it was made from a "Multimuppet"), who granted three wishes, all for bigger kites. Another one had Pancho playing Simon Says with Abelardo and the kids.
