first one will be out in 2004.
Pause for thought (or because you have to wait for 120 seconds)
Where did you here this, and do you have a link?

Hmm. This RPGibbs guy claims the show will be available, but he's not an official news source. And what's this weird stuff about the shows being "recolored"? I'll wait for a DVD news source to report it before I believe this one.
Dude, that reminds me. I saw Muppet Babies pillows and plushies and stuff at claire's! does anyone know if they've made a Baby Rowlf pillow yet? I've just seen Baby Gonzo and Baby Piggy so far..
Muppet babies Plush at TARGET!!!!
I just got back from a local Target (Hayward CA) and they had Muppet Baby Plush!!!! They were about 10" tall, and sitting in an open faced box. They had Kermit, Piggy, and Fozzie, available right then and there, but Fozzie was the only one who's outfit was true to the show. The back of the box advertised Animal, Rowlf, and Gonzo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I want a Rowlf so bad!!!!). These retailed for $14.99 each, and there was also a shelf tag for Muppet Babies Beanies, but none were present.
OH YEAH! Each plush came with a DVD that has 1 Episode of Muppet Babies, each disk appeared to corrospond with the character.
Yea, I saw those yesterday, too... picked up a Gonzo.
Quite shocked about the dvd... never thought I'd see them.
What manufacturer name is on the plush/DVD combos?
Same as the beans, Toy Play.
Need a scan/pic of anything?
I'll let you know if we need anything else. Thanks.
Could you post a scan/photo of the Larger plush and DVD please?
I'll scan the dvd label, dvd packet, and take a few shots of the packaging--minus the toy. I'll upload em to my site and post a link here when I get them up.
My little brother is a HUGE Muppet Babies fan, and Fraggle Rock for that matter. We found two old MB tapes for him and three Fraggle tapes (Goodwill gets them in occasionally) and he plays with my old MB toys all the time. It's a good thing that my Palisades Scooter is so sturdy because Scooter and Skeeter are his favorites. (he has also been known to tote around Rowlf and the Swedish Chef, he knows the Swedish Chef song )
I really hope this DVD rumour is true.
The good thing about MB is that Idoubt we'll get seasons sets at first... if at all so if we get any they'll probably be put together in some sort of catogory, The muppet's did many fairy tales, Peter Pan, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty... so we could have for example Muppet Babie's Fairty Tales or Muppet Traveling and there are a handfull of episodes that could fall in one catogory. Why i've said all this I have no idea.
I think with the Disney acquisition, eventually they will release episodes on DVD. If not complete seasons then a few episodes per DVD. They will probably do this after they re-introduce the franchise. As someone else said, 80s properties are making a big comeback and Muppet Babies certainly fits that bill.
Is Muppet Babies under their control? I think that's HIT's property now, but I don't remember.
I'd assume it is, seeing as they bought everything with 'Muppet' on it as well as the characters. I'm not sure how crossover stuff like MFC was handled, though.
Yes, Disney got Muppet Babies in addition to the other properties.
Oh, well, yeah, it's very likely then.
