Disney disappoints

In 2005, the Muppets' Wizard of Oz debuted on ABC with mixed reviews from fans. The projects that appeared positive, Kermit's 50-stop world tour and a new Christmas special were both canceled due to a management shakeup within Disney's Muppets Holding Company.
