Getting things unfortunately back on topic, people have been keeping count, and as far as presidential golfing goes, Barack Obama went golfing a number of 26 times when he was in Office for eight years . . . in comparison, Donald Trump has so far gone golfing up to 23 times in only 19 weeks.

Gross. Champagne popsicles sound disgusting.
As much as I would never buy anything Trump-branded, champagne popsicles could be fun. I've had margaritasicles, and made watermelon-mint-vodka popsicles, so yeah. The idea is not inherently awful.

Wish more pastors were like this guy:

Mine actually believes the bullpoop about Obama being Muslim and all that crap.
Oh, WELL said. I will engage in conversation and even debate with conservative friends who object to policy decisions by Obama, but far too many white folks -- far too many after the Civil War, and Reconstruction, and the Civil Rights movement are all in our past -- had an issue with him Presidenting while Black.

Barbara Bush's big crusade when she was First Lady was getting kids to read, and look how well it worked on George Dubya! 8)
I feel sorry for Dubya now. He was never, ever suited for the White House, but in retrospect he doesn't strike me as evil...just malleable in too great an extent.

I'd dearly love to see Rove, Cheney, etc trying to wrangle the completely uncontrollable Trump. Dubya just wants to paint. Frog only knows what Trump wants besides the adulation of the masses.

The scary thing is, he thinks that what he's doing is absolutely the right thing, even though it's clearly not. What's worse is that many Republicans and the Trump family are influencing him and egging him on to do these things (as heralde and D'Snowth mentioned a few posts earlier).

There are people in this world who are SO stubborn and narrow-minded that they won't listen to anything that the other side has to say. Look at the Obamacare repeal debacle, the half-baked Muslim ban, and now the withdrawal from the Paris Climate Accord. I strongly believe that our government is NOT acting in the interests of the public. So yeah, I also will be praying and hoping for Trump's impeachment, even though Pence isn't exactly a saint either. But he's lightyears ahead of Trump by comparison.
I was impressed and dismayed that so many Fortune 500 CEOs came out in condemnation of Trump's rejection of the Paris Accord. Not just sci-tech companies; the CEO of Goldman Sachs made his first-ever tweet just to speak out against the decision.

And the mayor of Pittsburgh refuted Trump's "Pittsburgh not Paris" slogan.

What was that about this administration being good for business, again? What? Speak up, can't hear you.

Peyton Manning played golf with Trump this weekend.

That's just sickening. Peyton's a hero in my state: we had him when he was just starting out, he began his college career playing for U.T. - his face and number are everywhere in these parts. Oh, Peyton, Peyton, Peyton. How could you? We chuckled as you hawked Papa John's, and as we saw you moping through your Sunday Morning adventures . . . this is just a new low.

On the other hand, ours is a most uber-red state, so this may have very well been like porn for some locals.

You've just reminded me that it's time for some more Carlin.
I remember in the summer of 1988 when this album came out. Got every Carlin album, seen him a number of times, got his autograph, probably the most brilliant comic ever (close tie with Richard Pryor).

For those of you that only know him as Mr. Conductor from "Shining Time Station", if your ears can handle a few four-letter words, this guy is comic gold..

Oh yeah, and evidently, Facebook is getting more and more aggressive about censoring anti-Trump posts - so much so that people are actually having their accounts deactivated for it.
