Yasssss... But I have plans for the octopoid being that is Ursula. Turn her into a more youthful yet adult character based on this segment from a Martin Short special I once watched where he was parodying Tim Burton and he had Brett Butler as a low-budget seafaring town spoof of Edward Scissorhands. It's complicated to explain but trust me Squeekums, the idea is there in my mind's eye. As for the last member of the original covant... Stay tombed!

Character Entry #13.
Name: Midnight the Phantom Bat.
Favorite I-Scream Flavor: Oatmeal Batterscotch.
Likes: Night-long monster movie marathons.
Dislikes: Having the lights turn on in the middle of his darkened cinematic enjoyment.
*Scaring Talent: Chiropteran Clutch.

Appearance:
Midnight is rather large for a bat his size, hence the "phantom" class designation. Darkened chocolate brown fur covers his central batlike body, whereas brown leathery skin covers the rest. He has a rounded yet somewhat cylindrical Muppetlike head atop his humanoid muscled torso. Two round black-pupiled eyes and aged brown eyelids are weighed down by a scruffily fuzzed blackened unibrow. A deadened grayish triangular-rounded bat's snout, slightly vampirically distorted, rests in the center of his face. Two white batfangs tucked in the corners of his upper jaw reach down to just about the curve of his chin. Two pointy chocolate brown bat's ears are placed on the sides of the top of his head, granting him the auditory reception needed to navigate his domain. Furred arms and legs extend from his masculine midsection, ending in four-digit hands and three-digit feet. His fingers are somewhat pointy, while metallically chilled claws emerge from the tips of his bare batty feet. Giant bat wings stretch out from his back, arched in a triple-segmented wingflap pose, and a proportionately-sized tail flaps behind his body from its position upon his rear end. Matching ironed crimson shirt and dress pants make up his wardrobe, gilded cuffs at the shirt's ends. He wears two pale whitened gloves, tucked beneath such cuffed closures. A sleeveless padded dark pinkish vest splattered with bloodstains conceals the red of his shirt's main body, and a glossy chocolate brown belt around his pants holding a black-handled spooklight upon his right hip pocket compliment his clothing choices.

Backstory:
When attempting to explain the origins of the Numbervanian neighbors, one finds the bat at the center of their town's roots. One bloodstream steers towards the Count's family lineage... While another presents the animalistic traits in degrees of melding with the human... And another possibility ends in animaloid versions of the batty brood such as Midnight. This haunter's race, about equal in height to the master, has served the ruling counters faithfully through the years. The one known as "phantom" prefers to keep to the shadows of the darkened halls and creepy towers in the mathematic monster manor. His face conveys a weight of the world upon it, yet it depicts a sort of blah-blah attitude at the same time as he knows there's little that can be done to change his murky mooded world view. Opting to shut himself out, Midnight took to his love of monster movies so much, it was only natural for him to host gothic gatherings on Frightday night. Only a small selection of ghests are accomodated within the circular span of the towertop theater... But they usually rotate amongst themselves for repeat showings so everyone can watch the debut of a brand new creature feature at their own leisure.

Counting Scene:
Midnight perchs himself firmly atop the outer roof of the rear righthand tower, known as the Drive-In or D-Tower. This dark room houses a silvery projection screen, camera booth, crimson carpeted flooring, and of course a total of twelve comfortably cushy theater seats arranged in a 4x3 boxed formation and graced by bat-topped metal frames. His wings spread outwards to their full span, his hand held out expecting the next visitor to his cinematic chambers. His left hand holds instead up to the heavens the ever-present storm cloud—showing its black 13 etching—gripped within his clutches as the phantom bat looks straight on in a deadpan demeanor as he gets added to the Counting Castle's cast of souls.

Hi... Sorry for the absence. Suggestions for 14? Something along the lines of a valentine schoolgirl sweetheart? PM or post here. Thanks, Count down.

Character Entry #14.
Name: "Black" Hartlie.
Favorite I-Scream Flavor: Bon-Bon Hearts.
Likes: Watching romantic movies, reading ushy-gushy fics, and doodling little black heart crushes in her notebook during class.
Dislikes: Having to mend broken hearts, most often her own after scaring away her latest crush.
*Scaring Talent: Heart Throbber.

Appearance:
Hartlie is one of the creep kids who live and learn in the Numbervanian neighborhoods. It could be argued as to whether Velorie or she can be considered as the first in such a category of spooks. Hartlie, though a teenage Muppet girl, is just slightly shorter than the Count himself. She has subtly shaded white skin covering her entire body. Her caramel blonde-brown hair trickles down behind her rounded heart-shaped Muppetlike head, ringlets framing her sweet face and ribbons streaming down the rest of the way. She has two round black-pupiled orblike eyes, two gray-whitened eyelids, caramel eyelashes, and a layer of dusky powder blackened eyeshadow beneath the lower rims of her eyes. A pointy triangular-shaped subtly whitened nose can be located in the center of her femenine face. Her lips are painted with a delicious dark black-reddened lipstick. Two triangularly-rounded batlike human Muppet ears to the sides of her head complete this girl's ghoulishly good looks. She has a normal teenage girl's body, and four fingers on both her arms and feet, cylindrical limbs like most Muppets as well.

She wears a filmy foggy gray sleeper teddy, wrapped around and showing her more ell-defined female form, trimmed thanks to a fring f ghostly white lace enhanced by the many little white lacy hearts on its edges. This is of course hidden by the rest of her everyday ware. What she usually wears is a schoolgirl turtleneck sweater of an intense dark or smoky reddish color bordered by a vertically segmented black-reddened collar and cuffs. She also wears a black knee-length schoolgirl skirt, held by a black-reddened ribbon and bow around her waist. Finally, two white bobby socks bound by brick red bands and black-reddened penny loafers compliment her academic attire. While black-red broken hearts put back together thanks to ghostly white stiches ring the edges of her sleeves just above the cuffs, her sweater's V-necked collar demurely declines downwards causing her to look down and then slyly smile at onlookers admiring the hearted hint of visible neckline. Additionally, a big blackly reddened Valentine's Day's heart box topped with a loving lacy white ribbon of its own occupies her left arm's embrace... The box contains both chocolate-covered strawberry hearts she only hands out to her truest fiends or biggest crushes and small individual bon-bons filled with a creamy screamy center.

Backstory:
It could be said that this girl has the "boom-boom" guys want... Especially considering that part of her appeal is the fact that her left chest pulsates outwardly—beating with the rhythm of her heart lying directly beneath it almost as if her chestbumping was a result of it having a mind of its own. "Black" Hartlie is an amarous sort, but sometimes she comes on too strong. What puts off some of the boys in the class is that vampirically ghoulish face of hers, an allure scaring most away before she has a chance at getting a simple first date—which is all she really wants. In spite of this, there are guys cocky enough to think about asking her out. Whenever she finally elicits a steady date, it is enough to set her dreaming and doodling her way through an entire litteny of scholarly class chores. Cuddled up together at the movies or The Pit and The Pendulum Diner, although she casts a more mature look, she really just loves to snuggle up with whatever beau of the week has entreated her company. If invited into her room—raising her hopes even higher—her suiter du jour is sent screming back into the night once she emerges from within her batty bedsheets as she's removed her traditional turtleneck showing off nothing but her stunning sleeping shroud. Left alone to console herself, she turns back to the pillows and silently sulks herself to sleep.

Counting Scene:
"Black" Hartlie chooses to stand by her lonesome on the castle grounds near the lefthand side of the Darkened Doorway's porch landing, accustomed to this by all her relationship misses. Her face exudes that maidenly mystique she's known for, before she opens her heart box and removes one of the batty bon-bons, plunging it down past her palatte. Sweetly smiling, she looks up noticing a familiar thundercloud stamped with a black 14 this time, before blowing a blackened kiss as the spookheart herself gets added to the Counting Castle's cast of souls.

Oh... Do you? Dish, girl, dish! :flirt:
So I take it you approve of #14? After all, you did help. And for #15, I'll be needing a good full descript of Fughetta Faffner, the Ghost of Faffner Hall. You can find her in the Wiki character files... Or spread the word to some of the GOFH fans like Kim and Erin. Thanks, and if I'm not in at the moment you reply, please leave your mesage after the thunderclap.
Count down.

Very nice! She sounds just lovely! Interested in the next one as I don't know much about GOFH.
