Mr Between was Dave? I had always thought that was Jim!

He does'nt mean the Green Anything Muppet that was singing "I'm Between" with two Monsters.

Mr. Between was a Lavender AM character from the 90's (I think).

I was thinking of a character with odd front teeth and suspenders who sang a song called "I'm Mr Between" and sang about getting between two potted plants, two pairs of pants, and a duck playing fiddle...etc...He was then trampled by his biggest fan, Mr On-top-of (an elephant.)

Yeah thats who I was talkin' about too.

Ahh...! Thought that was Jim. And did he do more than just that one song?

Dave was also the Chicken in Elmo in Grouchland, right?
  8. ploobis

    ploobis Well-Known Member

Yes Dave also did the Giant Chicken from Elmo In Grouchland.

The Between character that Jim played also sang the song "Lulu's Back In Town" in the first season of Sesame Street.

    Don't tell THAT to Bunsen!
    Sorry...inside joke with myself...

Thus we enter the debate...Is Bunsen green, or yellow? In otherwords, ripe or not?
  15. BeakerSqueedom

    BeakerSqueedom Well-Known Member

Not ripe...however, age will catch up.

He should be spoiled by now.

At last! The glorious day has arived! As some of you may know, I had been having some computer problems lately, and I was due for a new one. I vowed that when it was all set up, I would join this club. It was done this afternoon, so now here I am! So:

*Barges in with huge banner that says: "Dave is the most awesome person ever!"*

    *Reads title of thread.*

Oops, maybe I should try again...

Yes, seriously, Dabe is awesome! A lot of his characters are my favorites also, most of all
    :concern: !
Meeting him was indeed a wonderful experience; I just wish I was better prepared! Well, hopefully, there will be a "next time"!

I'm joining this thread, have to say Dave is my favourite Muppeteer, and just such a totally brilliant guy. I have never seen a Gonzo appearance, TV show, movie or anything that i haven't laughed at, and its always such a great moment when you see Dave himself in interviews and Gonzo performances. It's like watching the master at work, and he can adlib with Gonzo better than the writers can come up with lines in the shows!

I'd love to see him do more stuff, i know he voiced a Disney ride at one point but he's just so brilliant. He would have been great as a creature in the Harry Potter movies.

If i met Dave, i would offer him a complimentary Muffin without question!

    Welcome back, FraggleMuppet!
    Oh, Luke, I agree!
They should have casted him as a creature in HP!
    Even as Kreacher!
    (That his name?)

Meh, but I'm such a Dave fan...
I think he'd play all parts just as good.
I laugh at everything he does as well...
    very good humor!
