John Denver! Abraham Lincoln, if presidents count. There are more, but those are the two biggies.

To not just meet but sit down and have a lengthy dinner conversation with: Lincoln, that would be fantastic. Paul Revere (I would like to have gone with him on his midnight ride, and sat around in taverns plotting the Revolution with those amazing guys.) Winston Churchill. Franklin Roosevelt. Cary Grant. Humphrey Bogart. Katherine Hepburn. Bette Davis. Jimmy Stewart. Alfred Hitchcock. Margaret Bourke-White (photographer). Studs Terkel (writer).
Johnny Depp, Colin Ferrell, Kevin Spacey. Anyone flying for NASA. Clint Eastwood. Sean Penn.

Getting back on-topic, I have been to my fair share of Jimmy Buffett concerts (my first 1 was when i was six months, it rained way too hard that day and i think Jimmy said that he'd been in monsoons worse than that) and I also have seen Peter, Paul and Mary in concert.
I haven't been able to meet some celebrities, but I would LOVE to meet Harvey Korman, Vicki Lawrence, Tim Conway, Carol Burnett, Dorothy Lyman, Ken Berry, Beverly Archer, Rue McClanahan, Betty White, Bea Arthur (Golden Girl who was cantina matron on "Star Wars Holiday Special"), Karen Prell, Steve Whitmire, Frank Oz, and Jerry Nelson.

Would love to meet:
Alan Cross~ radio DJ who does a program on our local radio of The Ongoing History of New Music...I am in love with that man's voice, his humor and of course the factoids he delivers...
Bill Maher~ lively conversation!
The boys from REM, just to have them over for a couple beers...
Horatio Sanz, Norm MacDonald and Conan O'Brien for laughs...yes, I'm serious, I find them all funny.
Jim Henson and Frank Oz, if it was possible, just to go over to their table at a restaurant and shake their hands.
