Back to the Monopoly countdown, how many days left until it's available?
I don't think any of us are sure about that right now. We need Monopoly Guy or Okey! Okey? to pop by again with that news!!!
I'm not really sure if there is an exact date set yet either. Once it starts getting closer to the end of the month we might have a better idea.
Until then, Okay Okay and I are working on getting some more exclusive pictures to show you all, like the rest of the tokens, a couple of board spaces, etc. Don't worry, though, we won't be giving too much away.
Got a good question for you, Monopoly Guy (or Okay Okay):
We're told everyone at the office started talking like Pepe for a few weeks. Just curious: did people know who he was already? Or did someone have to "introduce" him to everyone else? If so, how? Was there a tape-watching party of best Muppet/Pepe moments? Just curious.
Okay Okay dowloaded the Weezer video and "making of" off their web site and had the "uninitiated" watch it. We were all cracking up. We were even having speaker phone conversations in Pepe's voice... heck, sometimes we still do, okay! Okay.
Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun, ok?
Here is another question to anyone who wants to answer it, is Annie Sue Pig in the game at all?
To my recollection Annie Sue Pig does not show up in the game. Sorry.
The joke of unrequeited love isn't one for the kiddies though. It is only something that the adults would understand. If you notice, he does 'pork' fun at her, and she him (especially those 'pork' chops--you know, karate), but what happens when either of the two is being wooed by someone not Kermit or not Piggy?
The other becomes flammably jealous.
She wants Kermit but would likely settle for love from someone else, he doesn't want her, but doesn't want anyone else to have her either. The greatest love story of all time I think!!
With-with you? In love with a pig? Ah, ha ha ha ha ha! Oh, wait 'til I tell the guys in marketing! Ah, ha ha ha ha ha! Maybe you could bring home the bacon! Ah, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Oh, the sounds of love! Sooey! Oink oink! Ah, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
Anyone remember when Christopher Reeves was on the show? Man, Kermit was upset.
Back to the Muppets Monopoly . . . .
Just started seeing some pre-sells on e-bay promising delivery by the end of the month. One seller was selling the game for $32.95 thru Buy-it-Now. Had a great picture of the game and all its pieces laid out.
Any word yet on the price it will be sold at? Which retailers (either on-line or stores) will carry it?

Ooh! has just jumped into the top 5, and the new tally knocks down two notches. He's out of the top running now. Amazing!
Even though Towels counted S&W as one, this was the best way I could think to tally them.
This poll is just about closed now, folks, so vote quickly if you still want to. If the boys at USAopoly want to keep track, that's fine, but I've got too many other things going on to keep tally at this point. At any rate, we're all looking forward to the announcement of the game's release. And who knows? Maybe we'll actually see this chaser set someday and know we had a hand in it!
ok, here's mine
OK, as a good citizen of Muppetdom, I should cast my vote, I guess.
Waldorf/Statler together -- a deluxe piece.
Can't wait for this game. I've already threatened my husband with hours of playing with it.
Monopoly Guy or Okay! Okay?,
When could we expect tosee some previews of the game, there's already a pic of the actual game outside the box on ebay, but it's very hard to tell what's what, since that's up could we possibly maybe expect some pictures?
I saw a bunch of Monopoly games at the mall Firday such as Scobby Doo, Star Wars and The Simpsons. I hope to find the Muppet one there when it comes out!!!!
Zack)Rowlf the, a good chance if more game peices are made Rowlf the dog will likey be one of them makes this dog very happy!,Dog.
<------Smile Rowlf!!! SMILE!!!!!
Monopoly Game: Muppets Collector's Edition
WEll the game is scheduled to roll into our warehouse sometime next week, which means that it should be in stores by the end of the month!!! Okay!?
Monopoly Guy is trying to arrange for an advance copy to be reviewd by the forum moderator, so there should also be some more images posted/shared with the forum as well.
So since Pepé had the great idea of making this game, Okay!, he thought it would also be fun to make a video for the band Weezer, Okay! Check it out too on the WEEZER site! Okay! Okay?
Happy weekend to all, and to all a good....motorcycle cop!
Just saw the Board, Cards and Peices.
Looks really nice.
Thanks Monopoly Guy and Okay!Okay? for sharing the info !
Hi, all! Sorry about the lack of updates lately. Today we received our first box of completed games from the factory and they look AWESOME! The tokens, the cards, the game board--everthing looks great! In another week or two the rest of the games will start shipping out to retailers. Look very soon--like, maybe sometime early next week--for a bunch of new exclusive images and information about the game right here on Muppet Central!
A few of the places I've been told will be carrying the game are Barnes & Noble, www.boardgames.com, Virgin Entertainment, and www.redhotel.net.
That's great M. Guy. We really love your updates. It is great when a developer comes to town.
